I would very much like to see more lessons like this. I came here for your Drop D Tool tutorials but I like your teaching style for playing in general.

Thank you every time I try to have someone explain this type of practice everyone tries to teach it like algebra which I'm terrible at.

This is a great video. Super informative. I've heard so many time that practicing chord scales is a great thing, but struggled to find the "what/how/why". This answers all those questions.

Also, bad ass kiesel. I've never seen any guitar like that. Very unique color. Did you go w maple or is that mohagany? Love the grains and satin finish

What's this "e standard"?
@shanewilliams2472 жыл бұрын
It's the normal tuning for a guitar. The tuning he's using for the video is E flat standard. That just means every string is tuned one semitone lower or one fret lower. A lot of bands use this tuning. Most Guns n Roses songs are in E flat standard
@DaveTaste2 жыл бұрын

Oh man, great video as always buddy but I'll never get all the theory. I suppose I would have to learn more basic stuff before watching this again because this is complete jibberish to me at my level. I can play alot of songs pretty well, I'm not new to guitar but I have no clue what I'm playing in terms of theory. I wanted to dive in and get a better understanding of it all but ouch. I'm just a rythem player and maybe that's my destiny lol
