These do not modify when the torque comes in, that is a product of engine tuning and mechanical performance of the engine. All these units do is change how much you push down the throttle. ie. It makes your 50% push of the throttle 100%, giving you the feeling of more "response"

Hi, very informative, advanced, and complete information regarding the throttle controller, thank you, but I have a question I hope the admin or Patriot Games can answer regarding safety issues, My question is what if the throttle controller's device suddenly fails? or the little wire cut? How come on most setting I’m finding it surging or bucking like mis firing around 80 to 100 k while towing 2 tonne in ford ranger 3.2 diesel ?is there a reset .currently have it back to 3 solid green lights and will try this mode

The computers in cars do almost everything for you these days. I'm driving a LC-105R with the 1HZ engine no computers just a throttle cable the only ECU is my right foot.

How is it comparable to the idrive throttle controller?

Essentially both do the same job however in the way they do it is different. iDrive takes a 'one size fits all' approach, whereas our throttle controllers take into each specific vehicle and then alter the response from there. The Pedal Torq also has more adjustability than the iDrive including a dedicated off-road mode and anti-theft functionality
