Pedal torq here, 200 series. I realise there is a few makes about now, and they all do the same thing more or less. Having said this, standard 200 series throttle response is ordinary, but its what you get used to, until you get a throttle controller, then you will wonder why you didnt get one sooner. I cant offer any advice on this product in this vid as ive only seen mates with pedal torq's and win boosters in 76/79/200/hilux series and they love them. No, it doesnt give you more power, but they will take away a shit load of lag, eg, your foot used to go down 30% to achieve said response from engine, now it might be say 7%.... dont knock one until you have tried one i say.

@@danbaz6906 I’ll explain it this way if you have 100% of the throttle down on a launch you can’t make that any quicker it’s 100% on so in this test when Shauno took off the 2nd time it looked like 3 quarter throttle rather than the half or quarter throttle on the first test again this has nothing to do with the throttle response as the timer they use works on the time the car moves. I don't travel light as I usually am fully loaded with a rooftop tent with all the camping and recovery gear etc so it takes a bit to get moving. Turning controller off is not the same as not having a controller in. With the controller fitted, your throttle adjusts to less throttle input due to the controller that boosts the signal. So, after having the controller in for a couple of weeks will result in your throttle to become used to less pedal movement. To bring it back to its original state, a pedal reset needs to be done and its therefore not fare to compare with the controller on vs off. Rather just leave it in auto mode for daily drive and select high or low setting when you really need it.

If your in soft sand and you think, I need SPEED! And you plant it and the car goes you probably didn't need to plant it. People always go way to fast in the sand and it wrecks the tracks. Just go slow, if you need speed what you really need is less tyre pressure. Pro tip. Low range is smother power and more torque and better for your gearbox, just use it even you don't think you need it, unless the sand is like a rock on the wet beach, but then you don't really need 4x4. Also keep stock tyres for better gear ratio and skinny tyres work just as well on the sand.

Love to see a test of the New Land Rover Defender in the type of terrain you take your trucks to ...

Good comparison, not sold on the idea but a free one would be worth testing. Oh well it's a shame I don't have Facebook, would like to see some touring mods and comparisons for economy and engine longevity as that is what my budget could do with, keep up the videos though, cheers 🍻

I have a Hilux and it made a heap of difference, but I have a HIKEIT X9. Can you do a test on it just to see if there's a difference.

These are only available in Aus through resellers after being RHD converted (not through Ford dealers or Ford Australia). 2020 F250 6.7L V8 diesel with 475HP and 1400Nm stock with warranty....Yep it's loud and I definitely have time to waste on that.
