Queen stayed in Polonaruwa during her visit to Sri Lanka. You can stay at the same room in the ekho lakehouse hotel she stayed. Polonaruwa is unique to rest of Sri Lanka as the city was built by a multicultural Tamil Hindu and Sinhala Buddhist community joining two major religions and races together. A blueprint for the modern multicultural western world.

Yes. Its less than 2 hours away from Sigiriya. It was the most inclusive kingdom of Sri Lanka compared to the more orthodox first kingdom of Anuradhapura which is more than twice as old. Polonaruwa ruins are quite young actually. @@elsonfamilytravels

No bro. This building is Atadageya.it was use to keep the lord Buddha's sacred tooth relic . Therefore ,there can't be kamasutra depiction. That carvings are Punkalasa, Makara (dragon) symbols, traditional pots with palm and human figures.

Nice vlogging In Sri Lanka . country either a museum with ancient ruins and cultures or a natures paradise with plenty of wildlife and waterfalls. I feel even the tourist promoters are confused What and how to promote everything in one go.so many ancient cities, anuradhapura, polonnaruwa, yapahuwa, kandy, deep south , damvulla,sigiriya mathale , mihinthale. Kurunegala,,seethawaka, kotte. Dambadeniya and gampola too. Try and explore as much as you can Even the wildlife with 26 national parks .
