So well said thank you, apart from the part that he was gentle and sweet in hugs and romantic affection, he was to impatient to show some understanding and empathy..as he said: life is easy. It made me feel like he was looking down on me as if I'm negative, while I went through hell in life without support but always kept control of my life. He makes me feel pathetic. I keep hearing his judgmental words in my mind. He also imitated me in how I talked according to him. It hurts to feel and see someone being so annoyed with me while he was kissing and wispering 'you are so sweet' in my ear, one hour before. I hope it will fade. I know it will like always but it sucks. My last text to him was : I'm not a robot, I have feelings Then deleted his number. But in my system I'm still waiting for him to come back......can't help it. I think that's what manipulation does. It makes you hurt, frustrated but also attached bc we are human.

I'm not sure if I just dated one but he left icecpld and I feel stupid but the better explanation is that he walked away because I did not shut down but I defended and told him to respect me in my own house. That's when he.got up and left with the words 'I won't talk to you anymore'. The reason for HIS issue was that he could not handle that I was telling him about a nightmare experience in my old house, with a psycho and how I escaped. This man looked at me, angry and yelled at me that I talked about this many times. I talked about it partially yes a few times but I am a cheerful relaxed person and he left, acting as if I am giving him negativity, while I was sweet to him during our dates but HE seemed to find things to comment or fuss about. I feel confused thinking maybe it's me I talked to much and I feel ashamed. But I apologized more than once but for what?For sharing thoughts or setting a boundary (he was mad bc I said im not going to join you in your car when you drink abd drive, he stopped taking to me. I'm not perfect but his behavior was not respectful. Also he could have said it nicely that my story made him feel bad and he wanted to leave it at that instead he left out of the blue, after a wonderful evening of dinner in a restaurant, hugs, kisses. Also, the fact that he never reflected and I did and said sorry - but he would say nothing when I apologized. Shows the lack of kindness. I'm still feeling depressed and down and I start to doubt myself for real bc some ppl say: it was to much for him and he just decided to walk away. Idk I'm confused. I texted him that he is a selfish person and now I feek like I am the unhealthy one but if I looked at what happened I never yelled at him. I simply told him my opinion. He did not want to talk about it to close the gap and move on in positivity. I was so hurt that I expressed my pain in a text but irs pointless. What worries me is that he is still in my system and how good the nice moments were, I keep thinking that he misses me too but won't contact me anymore. I try to feel better by looking for answers and confirmation that there is nothing wrong with me. He also didn't like sex without condoms and made me feel like anxious bc I said I'm very careful with sex I dont want to become someone who thinks everyone is a narcissist. Im afraid that I ruined it...which is crazy bc he did nothing to make it work.

it's sad but it's true ! You are always on point with your observation. I think my ex thought i was naive. he choose me for that. i was believing all his fake extraordinary stories during the love bombing phase. So he knew that he could manipulate me easily. until i stop doing weeds and alcool with him, sleep well and regain my physical and mental health. and by the way for those who are still around narcissist. try to avoid drugs and alcool. Narcissist used this to manipulate you easily like sleep deprivation. be aware around a narcissist.
