@ and that’s a big if, 4 more years he’ll be 35 in LA, he’s not Lu and given how incredibly unhealthy he already is I don’t see things aiding in his favour and getting a 4th gold. He’s had an incredible career and 3 golds is something we’ll rarely if ever see again by anyone

the only problem with kobe is that those lifts have a lot of elbow wobble and one was a clear press out. like on strict international judging and maybe even unfriendly judging that stuff is gonna be called. he definitely strong but he needs to drop the weight and lock out those elbows.

If that American kid learns to snacht oh buddy , I heard he hit 170 not really going to cut at the very top , but he is training for 2 years and the snacht takes times probably the more technical move in any strength activity that use a barbell .. 🤞 that he develops .

I gotta believe Lalayan will beat Gor in the supers. Gor has him by a hair in the snatch but Lalayan has 3 kg up on in cl & jerk. Gor has a tremendous pull but when he catches his cleans the bar always seems to crash down on him like someone dropped the bar out a 2nd story window on him which doesn’t make it easy for him to proceed to the jerk. Seb FYI both Albanians (Calja-73, Qerimaj-81 were competing before Rostami/ Nuridinov. Calj 2006 WC. Qerimaj 2008 OG. Their country is going to run these guys until they drop.
