There is nothing cuter than seeing ducks swim and sticking their butts up in the air when diving. I also love the way you prepare the ducklings bath with wildflowers. You will be an amazing mom one day Carrie. I have been following you since your apartment days and your personal growth, warts and all has been inspiring and I'm glad you feel fulfilled. Alex is a wonderful man and your both very lucky to have found each other. As a mother of daughter's around your age I can't help but think about your own mom knowing that it probably gives her such comfort knowing your well cared for by a loving partner. As far as the garden trellis, I think white will bring everything together nicely.

Found your channel a few months ago and decided to go back and watch all your New Zealand videos. This is how far I’ve gotten so far. I was watching this as I was getting ready for work and my husband said “what are you watching? It’s so calm and peaceful.” And I think it’s so true about your channel. You have a peaceful presence, even when there is chaos. You’re doing something beautiful here. So glad you’re getting to experience your dreams ❤️

I got teary-eyed watching Waddles in her little pool and thinking about how you two just went and made this life happen for yourselves. And then you started reflecting on just that! It is beautiful how life unfolds so unexpectedly and wonderful to reflect on that - being emotional is a strength. It is a joy to watch your new life in NZ, thank you for sharing with us! ❤️

I think if you're going to repaint the fence white, you should paint the arch white as well. I think it will look more purposeful and cohesive. Either way, it's magical and enchanting :)

As someone who also got married and took a leap of faith to move across the world, I feel incredibly emotional/hopeful/relieved watching this video. While I know that my own personal chapter is not yet over (we have one more big move to complete before we can settle down into our own future homestead), I feel hopeful that I will too find the inner peace that you seem to radiate. Watching your journey has brought me so much joy, and I wish you nothing but love and light. xo.

Carrie, I never comment on videos, but this one, oh, you are such a lovely soul and the emotional part of the video is my favorite part! Love hearing what goes through your head and your reflections on life. I love that you are so present and noticing the signs from the universe, and I think that personally could benefit from doing the same - staying present and just reflecting on what’s happening to me and around me. I feel like not many people are brave enough to do it because they are scared of what might come up, what changes they might need to make in order to get align with their personal values and dreams. I admire your courage, not only to do it, but to also share your journey. You are very inspirational and I wish you and Alex and your growing fam all the best. Much love from Wellington !

My dreams have just aligned with what I envisioned for life too! We bought a house in my low key goal city of Waco, TX that we really love. I quit my insanely toxic academic job to go be a rocket engineer and are starting to think long term finally. Before, it was grad school, then a string of temporary jobs. But I figured out my values and how my hubby and I could align our joint values with what we did and we’ve made it to such a good place. I feel you!!

Please tell me you're in talks with Mitre 10 to become an offish sponsor? The alignment is off the charts, what a great partnership that could be!! Also, what I've realised from yours and Alex's vlogs is that when I move to NZ the last thing I should do is rush out and get a pet. They'll just find their way to me and I'l have a few friends before I know it (especially in spring!). Thanks, Carrie, great vlog ^.^

Duckie is the cutest little precious thing eveeeeer! ❤️ And I thought it doesn't get cuter after Woolson, lol! It's amazing how your life lined up and what has come your way. It really helps me believe it's possible to have your dreams come true! ❤️ About the archway - I'd actually paint it white so it matches the fence and it's more contrasting with the plants that grow around it. I mean, I guess it won't stay this beautiful naturally wood-ish color, it will get grey pretty soon. White might look nicer for longer, though of course it will be run down by the weather as well. Anyway, just a thought, haha!

Beautiful weekly update. It's nice to see you two taking time for yourselves. You've done such alot of hard work in the short time you've owned that house and all of that at the end of a long difficult move to NZ. Just loved your talk session. It's very pleasing to hear the level of perspective which both you and Alex speak from. And the duckling arrival, you manifested her🦆. As the sign of the harvester, Virgos are powerful manifesters when they atune to themselves, with nature, just as you have. This whole life you have going here, you both have manifested yourselves. You are both so in tune with the nature around you, which is the beautiful tune that attracts back to you, who and what you are, and so far all I've seen from you both, is good intentioned, wholesome, loving, caring people. 💚🐕🐑🦆👫

Thats so amazing if she is super clingy especially when you need to get work done (of course you are your own a homestead duh) if you have a hoodie I know this sounds crazy turn it around so the hood part is in the front and you can place your clingy duckling in comfortably while you carry out your chores ps love the content edit for the archway it would look good if you stain it to protect it from the weather but strip the fence and stain it the same colour aswell sorry I know that means more work but it could work out well aesthetically

Just loving your reflection video today, you make us want to just stop and take in your own life. We’re so in awe of you both and get excited when we see your vids. Love the duckling Woolson and Lanka. I’ve watched you both for only the last year and just enjoy watching your wonderful relationship. Can I ask, have you ever had an argument?? I real one lololol as for the pagoda, white and the fence too 🤗
