The Yogscast, Shadow of Israphel specifically, got me interested in text-based Roleplay. Jaffa Factory was one series that solidified my interest and kept me in the Yogscast community. From there, because of this text-based roleplay, I joined things like Model United Nations, got an interest in diplomacy (purely just for Roleplay), a few years later and am just about to finish my degree, starting a business, and have a full scholarship to study in Germany for my Masters, a country I fell in love with during a year abroad. I had forgotten about the Yogscast given how busy my life is, but seeing this pop up reminded me of how my life is the way it is because of these people and a simple minecraft series such as this. Such a weird concept and feeling, but nonetheless interesting and I hope (in such a weird way) that others here have been changed and motivated in such ways.

I would love Moonquest + Voltz again please... seeing those cool machines and refineries turn into horrific weapons of war which only ever destroyed their own creators and peace monuments (seriously all I remember is Ridgedog base self destruct, Sips & [redacted] red matter themselves and the cluster bomb in 'episode 12: the bomb' which was used about 50m from the base)... or "hold space to slow down" being ingrained in my core memory alongside "look both ways before crossing" and "turn the power off before you unplug"

@@HoneyTweeyou know he has been trying to make a comeback, he still makes only Minecraft content marketed to children and now has a discord again for content made for children…he really didn’t learn a damned thing the pdf file scum

I was 17 when the original Jaffa Factory was built. Now I'm turning 30 and finishing my PhD.

We're back bitches. Jaffa factory 2 here we come. God I've missed you guys doing modded minecraft scenarios. Hopefully we can get a guest appearance of Simon, maybe even sips coming to give you some factory tips. Can't wait to see more of what you guys are bringing. Its been a beautiful 10 years for me, I'm 24 now and still excited. Let's bring it onnnn

I was in my mid 20s, now I'm about Lewis and Simon's age. Still solid watching the Yogs after this time. Cheers and get those jaffas out!

You know... honestly, thank god Lewis is here cus based on the last few videos if someone who isn't building oriented isn't playing with Duncan and Harry they'll just live in a field for most of the series... *Flashbacks to BCG* Also Tip for Harry or Lewis, there's a chunk loading function built into the map mod, you can leave your home chunk loaded for the iron farm and such.
