You know botania flowers can be directly turned into dye. Put a flower into the grid, it becomes 2 petals, them in the grid dye of the flowers color. If you take 4 petals of any color and a bone meal in the crafting grid you get some floral fertilizer, smack the ground with it and a ton of botania flowers are spawned. If you plant a petal and bonemeal it you get a tall flower (use shears to break it) Tall flowers turn into 4 petals. You can very quickly turn one or two flowers into stacks of any dye you want with a bit of bonemeal. Way easier than hunting down biome based colors.
