Loving the progress Amy keeps making with this, one thing i will note is that i think it would be better to have the leaderboard permanently up, for ease of commentary and so we can get an idea of whats going on. Thats just personal preference though, im seriously in awe of this mod. Also if there is a way of getting the nurburgring on GTA V, then you should do an endurance race around there!

Well, maybe not permanent (it takes up a fair bit o' space with its current appearance), but a toggle instead of having to hold down the button could be good.

I love seeing Lime Rock in games. Our area is not very popular, but seeing Lime Rock is amazing! My hometown is the next town over from it. Also my high school is next door and we could hear the racers practice as well while we were at practice for our sport.

I don't know if this is possible, but I'd love to see it not necessarily be random, but be position based. So the lower down the order you are, the faster the car you get. I feel it would produce interesting racing

being in first with the brickade and the people behind crashing in piles that one turn was funny. you could make a gamemode out of that. first person to get past the brickade wins. bwaahhh what if the game automatically put the person in first into a brickade? that would be a fun race. that would cause some really bunched up racing where everyone is constantly in contention to get first while first place is only blocking to maintain position.

they've done something similar on one of the forzas iirc. they had a slow car that would act as a pace car, and no one was allowed to pass them, while everyone else is in really fast cars that definitely didn't like going slow.

The lag bubble in front is definitely something one needs to take into account when passing other cars. One GUI request is to show the time deltas for both the car ahead and the car behind you.

These are a great addition to your already versatile array of .... we'll say "automobile activity videos", but I would suggest turning off catch-up and slipstream for these races. I believe it then puts all the luck and skill on the driver and the car, while increasing your desire to avoid other cars/collisions. And sidenote... you should nickname slipstream "mustard".... THEN you can say "we have mustard and catch-up on for this race"... ha.. keep up the good work and happy holiday from Metro Detroit area !!!!

Is there a way to have it so everyone uses the same 9 random cars (in a 10 lap race) but the order is random. So everyone ends up having to drive the lawnmower or the F1 car, but the order is changed. In theory that means you could all finish at the same time rather than getting a massive lead.

only change i would suggest for the UI is some transparency on that player list with the vehicles. completely losing sight of anything behind it is quite jarring, and likely problematic since cars can unexpectedly show up from that space.
