A New Challenge: Servicing a Brand-New Nakamichi Dragon

I have a Nakamichi dragon. Auto reverse function not working,Green LEDs on buttons not glowing,Rew/ fwd working. The capstan motors spinning on one direction . Head loading and coming down . Pls guide me how to rectify

Send it to a reliable serviceman, no way you may fix the Dragon without experience.

Iam located in oman . In middle east there is no one to repair this machine.

I have replaced the idler tire and the other 2 belts also . Rewind and forward. Works well . The capstan drive board transistors Q518 & Q519 gets hot bit higher than other side Q522,523,524&525
