I love Kaweco medium nibs! and that comes from a Fine nib guy! For writing, my choices are Pilot 823 and Kaweco Sport for edc. Writing with pencils, Pentel Kerry, Koh-I-Noor 5340 are the best writers! Valuable info for new Artists: Best pencils you can get, for Drawing/Sketching,are: Faber Castell TK 9400/ TK 4600, Pentel Graphgear 500 0.5mm, Kaweco sketch up, Koh-Noor 5340/5347, are the best I've tried, among all of the known brands and models, including Rotring super expensive ones etc. Nothing beats the Performance and Precision of the pencils I mentioned. PS For new artists, Koh-I-Noor makes the best sketching supplies, like the best Red Chalk and the only that comes close to the original the old masters used! They also call it Russet Sepia in their 5.6mm leads. It's what other companies, call Sanguine, (none of them comes at least close, to what Kohinoor thankfully still makes! Those are the

Hello bravo for your work it is very instructive 👍 I am an artist I am currently looking for a fountain pen to draw with a fluid line, a good flow of ink, a good reserve of ink, and resistant. What would also be the right inks to accompany this product? thank you for your comeback

Thank you for your review. I own this pen and like it. It's handy to have a cartridge pen as I can carry spare cartridges. In fact, I managed to fit a spare cartridge inside the barrel of the pen.

Disappointing that this 259 doesn't post which is very unusual for a Kaweco. Looks too wobbly to post. Usual retail price? I'd probably opt for a broad.

Hey Mick! Thanks for the great content. I'm really tempted to get these! I have a black Kaweco student, and it writes very smoothly.

AU$220 is a massive rip-off for a steel nib without converter that comes in black. You can buy the excellent Platinum Century and Pilot E95S for that price, both with exquisite gold nibs.

Thank you Mick for the review. I have been looking at this pen for a while and you provided all the answers to my questions. As an aside, does the Student use the smaller nib?

I think it's a flaw from the company to make this pen not post. This is too small to call it full sized

As a woman with small hands, and as a fountain pen enthusiast, I appreciate that manufacturers make smaller pens.
