This is such a dumb statement. Intel will never run out of money like that. Intel may not be getting standalone CPU sales but they account to way more than that. They sell OEM PCs as well and majourity of them use intel and this is a fact. Schools, companies ect. Their still making income from this and this is where majority of the money comes in. Because not everyone is a pc enthusiast like people in this video. They have much more money than amd and that is a fact. Even Linus has said this himself and because of this intel can do things such as research and development on a much wider scale than amd and it shows.

Because Intel isn't making the Flagship CPU anymore that people want so no one is buying EVGA's motherboards anymore. Calm down fan boy. Looks like Kingpin went back to EVGA and said look guys, Intel got new mobo platform coming out every 3-4 months we cant even get our Dark Mobos into production before a new platform is announced. Lets go with AMD who are more stable and don't switch things up soo damn much!!! 🤣🤣🤣

@@nulu6767 yeah, I'm sure they had some sort of contract/agreement that they had with Intel and Nvidia, but why lock yourself to one cpu and one gpu manufacturer? I hope that agreement payed well for lost customers. I would have been all over an Evga MB and AMD card with my build last year (3700x and 5700xt). Unfortunately I had to go to other companies (Asus and MSI). I was a loyal Evga customer back in the day (was able to get an Evga psu at least).

It was the nvidia nforce chipset with a am2 socket I had one it was decent. Then Intel started putting the north bridge into the cpu and that killed the nforce lineup then nvidia quit making chipsets all together. Damn I feel old at 41 😢

Yeah pricing records. Current extreme x570 boards are 700$, so EVGA boards will be like 1400$. Same parts, it's just the stickers in the box are gold plated at 100$ a piece.

@@lucifer1978b back then they just rebranded, the nforce4 was a Jetway I believe. There were bad caps going around then too, my board had a few that I needed to replace. It was one of the first Evga branded mb's.

@@isakh8565 The b550 boards are newer, and thus had better design choices. The X570S refresh should bring X570 back to the front with the newest designs for best performance. Only drawback for X570 was BCLK otherwise that is more workable on the B550 chipset.

@@isakh8565 I haven't watched the most recent buildzoid vids, but doesn't that depend greatly on when the board architecture was made? The newer Dark Hero x570 performs better on memory OC I believe, as well as newer revisions of gigabyte boards. In addition, I would assume that this iteration of EVGA Dark will do what its predecessors have done and drop down to two dimm slots, eliminating some of the performance drop off of daisy chaining four dimm slots.

Excellent. I am so glad to see this. Call me a fanboy if you want to, but I literally cringe at the idea of buying an enthusiast motherboard, GPU, or PSU made by a company other than EVGA. I've been burned too many times on the ASUS, ASRock, and Gigabyte garbage, and EVGA's support and warranty service has no match. Maybe there is a chance for a Ryzen build to actually have a place in my future now. We shall see. Their lackluster overclocking was holding them back. Now that 5.0GHz+ on all cores and 4000+ on the memory clock is within striking distance, maybe so.

Announce the release date. Z590 DARK was announced on January 2021 and the board is not even out yet until July 2nd week. Please release this fast, Alder Lake is almost near now, 2021 Q4 imminent launch.

My first DIY motherboard was an EVGA Intel X58, and the last one was an EVGA Intel Z170-- and it broke during transition for an RMA, so I went with an ASRock Z97 and still use it with an aging Broadwell-C quad-core just so I could keep Windows 7. For the last few years, I'm leaning into AMD more than Intel, I'd prefer AM5/Zen 4, and wouldn't mind it be an EVGA motherboard again, though I'd like a Stinger variant. :)
