You could call that photo "Bare in the Woods" :D :P And, there probably was one somewhere off behind the trees!! Winch is gorgeous!!! :D She's not Mike, but I think she'll make a great "bear dog"!!! And, protect you from the savage dormice!!! :P :P But, only after she finds something to tear up or starts biting you on the big toe!!! :P Oh, and I'm pinching that recipe!!!

This video was a positive one. It tells me that we honor the past and embrace the future. Mike would have been proud. After my father past away in 1996 I inherited the family photo collection. One of my greet grandfathers was in the Alaskan/Yukon gold rush and took two albums worth of pictures. I always wondered what it must have been like shooting and developing your own pictures on the trail. Your video has given some insight to what it might have been like.

Hie, nice episode, thanks for sharing. One question : how do you do with ticks, this awful little insect that gives you Lyme Disease. It's plenty of those in my lands.
@BorutPeterlinPhotography4 жыл бұрын
Oh, you are totally right! People are afraid of bears (that I encounter almost ever time) but real danger is from ticks. In my life I had probably hundred of tick bites, but only once I got a Lyme disease. My daughter in her first year of life, she got one tick bite and retrieved a Lyme disease. It's OK, if it's treated immediately. That said Lyme disease starts as bacteria infection that can be treated pretty easily, but sometimes it develops into autoimmune disease and that is what causes huge health issues. I and my daughter didn't suffer autoimmune stage, so no problem. I'm vaccineted again tick meningitis, that is even more dangerous disease. To make a long story short, avoid bushes, avoid grasses and you'll be OK. In this episode I got a tick bite, nevertheless, because I lay on the ground. I'm so used to this danger that I can recognize the bite immediately and I take it off as soon as possible and by that decreasing chances of bacterial infection. So get vaccinated and take precautions. Bright color pants help too.

@@BorutPeterlinPhotography thanks for the answer ... In France it doesnt exist a reliable test to know if you are infected by Lyme ... I guess you are luckier in Slovenia. Take care !

@BorutPeterlinPhotography3 жыл бұрын
M;y favourite choice for 8x10 would be MaNFROTTO #058 with the head #410. It's the best handling experience of my choice. The tripod for my 16x20" is a gitzo, but the head isn't strong enough.

Looks like you added some sort of grain after the soya chunks? What is that?
@BorutPeterlinPhotography4 жыл бұрын
Smaller soya bits. It's better with bigger chunks, but I didn't had the flavour to thicken it up, so smaller soya bits do the job.
