I recently just found your channel and I feel like we are kindred spirits! There are so many similarities, except I have not yet begun anything I just continue to overthink everything and just read about it while you were actively living out your dream. Thank you for being an inspiration to put passion to action.

Hi Kaylee, I just found your channel and few weeks ago, but have now watched many of your videos. I am an Emergency Room Nurse, but have always been interested in natural, holistic, and herbal medicine. You have given me such inspiration and knowledge regarding herbalism in just a few short weeks. I was just diagnosed with adult ADHD in the last 2 months. While watching your videos based on the herbs you like so much (such as passionflower) I wondered if maybe you were using herbal medicine to support ADHD symptoms. Many of which I have myself. Trouble with getting to bed at a decent hour or maintain consistent enegery levels for example. Because of your videos I recently added passionflower tea to my morning routine of course with some raw honey. Thanks for sharing your journey☺️ Sarah

Hey Sarah!! Thank you so much and the medical field is so draining on our systems. I am a Surgical First Assistant and when I was working full time is took everything out of me. Definitely support your adrenals and look into adaptogen herbs like Tulsi 💛 I use mushrooms everyday- Lions mane is very helpful for focusing. I will be sharing more on mushrooms very very soon and have some big things in the works!

Moose is going to have the best life foraging with treats! ❤ My goal for 2024 is to relive the inside of my home with fresh paint, organization and redecorating for more of my current style. I’m on target to finish by May 1 so the garden will still eat all my spring/summer attention. Also I’m hosting a Garden Birthday Party for a small handful of my favorite ladies on my birthday in May. I love having fun, happy goals that are achievalble😊!

That's awesome that you can identify mushrooms in the wild that are safe to eat. We have lots of them in the woods behind our house but I wouldn't dare try to eat any of them...since I don't which ones are edible vs poisonous!

i don't make resolutions either, i make very simple very small goals. i've been learning to crochet, my goal is to *start* a baby blanket this year. i've been trying to practice piano more often, so i'm going to learn 1 song on piano this year. i'm lacking in my spirituality so my goal is just to be more spiritual. i'm not going to complete this and that huge accomplishment. my goals are to make attempts. ps i also have ADHD and i had no idea you did too! that kind of makes me feel a little better because you are so inspiring to me and knowing that you have the same struggle i do makes me feel like i CAN do all the things you inspire me to try ❤️

I just got diagnosed with adhd at 34 years old, and now my 2yo and 4yo have been referred for evaluations for autism and adhd… i went through a whole process of trying so many different adhd medications and they all made me feel like crap in different ways. I decided a couple months ago to stop medicating and start working with my adhd instead. Because of this I’ve decided to homeschool my kids as well because I just don’t want them to be forced into a box.

Charity begins at home. It is a crucial discipline to learn to forgive yourself. To be gracious in your conversations with yourself. We do fail ourselves. I disappoint myself on an almost daily basis. I remind my coworkers that your best and worst days each are only 24 hours long, and you get to start over the next day. We must strive to l Iive in the moment. The time it took you to read that last sentence is now history. It cannot be changed or "fixed". The future has not happened and fretting over it is an exercise in futility. Now is all we have.

Just FYI if you use the name of what you want him to find as your training him to smell for it, you can tell him to go find it and he will do it. I taught my border collies the game “Go Find it” I tell them to find the ball or the frisbee or whatever toy I know Is in the back yard and they will find it and bring it to me.

Great video! My oldest son is dignosed with Adult ADHA. I knew he had it has a kid and the school kept saying he needed to be tested. I did not want him on medication. I used to spend hours working with him on his homework / schoolwork because teachers did not want to deal with him. He did have a great teacher in 2nd grade that worked with him. He just went on medication a few years ago.

@@TheHoneystead I will have to order it for him. When he decided to get his degree from college, he went to the doctor. I hated knowing that he got meds but it did help him manage to get through the classes. I found just having alot of patience with him growing up helped and keeping him involved in activies also helped.

A diagnosis doesn’t mean he has to go on medication. A diagnosis is simply knowledge. You could still have said no to meds. If you had gotten him officially diagnosed, he could have gotten accommodations and qualified for tools to teach him to manage and thrive.

@aloras405 Unfortunately, he is a grown man - turning 40 this year, so he makes his own decision. If I had a say like I did when he was a kid, there was no medication. He did this in his 30s. I realize there are some good meds out there that are needed, but overall, I stay away from them.

I found out I have ADHD in my mid twenties. Was that child who talked to much, couldn’t sit still etc. I got lucky being a girl, because they are less likely to be diagnosed. As my parents likely would have tried pills. I just wish sometimes I could slow down and think things through better sometimes. Otherwise I’m content with life.

Great video and those stigmas some want to place on people want everyone to be a cookie cutter. Albert Estine and Henery Ford and the many others will help to make the world what it is. God created us just the way he wanted. Ever person learns differently and meds do more harm. I love the way you teach and i am making a notebook on things to buying many boks you tell are good. If you could hold the book still a little longer on camera i can wight the name down better. Thank you for all you do.

Medication is not necessarily bad. I was diagnosed with ADD as a child. For me, medication was very helpful. Everyone needs different things. I also learned tools and techniques to help manage and work with my brain. I can function without meds. But sometimes my brain needs a little help. The problem comes when people are misdiagnosed and the meds are misused and people aren’t taught how they learn. If I have a rash from poison ivy what helps? Jewelweed. Will my body heal on its own? Yes. But the jewelweed helps manage the rash. It’s the same thing. Also ADHD and ADD are covered under ADHD. It’s a spectrum. I’m inattentive presenting thus the ADD diagnosis as a child.

I highly doubt you have ADHD, you have an active mind that wants to reach out and learn new things and sitting in a classroom all day listening to the same things year after year creates boredom! ADHD is a stigma teachers attach to kids when their own imagination and sloth make them want to sit in a quiet room all day. When my great nephew was going to be registered in school his first year, there was a long list of requirements the parents had to sign off on... child must be able to sit quietly during the day, no disruptions... that was the first one right off the bat for a kindergarten age child. The next thing was telling his patents that if he couldn't sit still that they highly suggest medication to help him do so!! My nephew and his wife looked at each other and ripped the paperwork up and walked out and they have homeschooled him all these years and that boy is so freaking smart, it's crazy! Give a child their imagination and they will love to learn and grow to be so much more than what society tries to pin down on them.
