Had corn silk tea last couple days. I steep for 15-20 minutes, add honey and coffee creamer and it is amazing. Taste better than the corn. There are nutrients in corn silk you can't get anywhere else.

I love all of your videos, your an inspiration. My husband gets nervous every time I watch your videos cause I keep saying I want a apothecary shop like yours :) Question; could you please recommend a good book that has the medical issue then lists the herbs that would with that particular issue. I can only find the books that give the herb name then lists it’s benefits. I’m looking for vice versa. Thank you so much ❤️

I've just discovered a few tinctures I started making 2 years ago. I don't know how I overlooked them. I wonder if anyone has done the same and still later strained it off and used it.

Traditional British gin is infused with juniper berries ( amongst various other herbs and spices ) Gin was often suggested as a remedy for gout in British folk medicine and the activity of the gin is often ascribed to the juniper berries , which disperse uric acid in the joints and have an eliminative , depurative effect . Angelica root has a similar effect and is also used to flavour gin . Furthermore , topical application of diluted juniper berry essential oil helps with aches and pains , especially due to inflammation .

I just listened to this, my first one of your videos while working in my garden. I’m learning to grow veggies too, but am most interested in the herbs. Plus they seem to grow better for me anyway! Loved all the tips & also the references.. I may want to add them to my growing library. I look forward to seeing your other videos. 👏👏👏

So far I have harvested Dandelion Flower, and Lambs Quarter out of the yard. There is a ton of Yarrow just leaves now... Trying to identify someb of the other plants in the yard. Is there an easy way to ID plants. Not finding them in my books.
