I think it is fantastic that you fish with Craig. I can tell he really looks up to you not only as an angler but also as a good friend. When I was younger I had a guy at work that took me under his wing so to speak and taught me how to smallmouth fish on the Tennessee River. He passed away several years ago and I dearly miss him. I could never have repay him for all the knowledge he shared. I have a funny feeling Craig feels the same way about you Mark. Lots of memories being made on those trips you share with people. Great video Mark. Really enjoyed this one. Brought back memories.

My story of today is kind of similar to yours. I just got back home from hiking 14 km( or about 8.7 miles for my American friends.)up a mountain to spread one of my best friends ashes on one of his favorite salmon rivers. 3 more rivers to go before our journey is complete. Similar to your dear friend, this man taught me how to salmon fish. RIP to your friend and RIP James.

It's funny. I live in California and here in the big valley we only get about 10 inches of rain a year. When a storm blows through, we get out of the truck and stand in it.

My homie from Hawaii would rob sparrow nests from under bridges and rubber band them to his hook and let them flap on top of the water, he said cats would come up from the bottom to eat them.

Seems like a collapsible canopy or maybe better yet a tall pop up hub floorless non-insulated ice fishing shelter would suit days like this on trips where you use a pickup or big vehicle.
@bullfrogger12082 жыл бұрын
Yea. That or an umbrella. Looked warm out there. Either one of those boys could have used a nice cool shower. They are like my dog when I bring a hose out.

Man what are those other fish up in the canals around engineers, I've caught catfish, cichlids, and small bass but can't get them others to bite, I don't think they're gar they roll on the surface alot unless I'm mistaken dorsel fin is to far forwards. I seen a giant fish this afternoon like 4' long ain't a gator in the canal.

His spin reel is set for a right hander. Right handers crank with their right hand and hold the rod in the left. Same with a bait caster.
