@@MarkedinBlood . I am making a supposition based on Rega’s marketing strategy. There has been nothing confirmed. If I were you I would either hold off on the P3 and get that P6 (it is still a lot better than the P3 RS) or wait a year and see what comes along. I have noticed that a lot of official Rega dealers are discontinuing the sale of the base Rega P3 model and only advertising the P3 RS. Take from that what you will, but I am reasonably confident a change in models is coming in the near future.

It's not a Corporate Marketing Exercise at all. Improvements of models have been done for years. Arcade and Marantz used to bring out improved variants in the 90s. To be honest, I feel slightly cheated, though. I purchased the Rega 50th Anniversary TT last year with the PSU and Exact Cartridge. A bargain. Now, for a measly £100 a year later, I could have purchased this version with sn improved Cartridge and improved Plinth. Oh well, at least I'm happy with what I have.

It's not a review it's news. Prospective customers may be interested. Not me as I purchased the 50th Anniversary Edition last year. If your not happy with the content here don't watch and view other channels instead. Cheshire Audio has the right to post whatever he likes.

Yes you are right. There is a fixation with turntables in general and Rega in particular on this channel. "Special Editions" and "Improved" versions sold at a premium are a well know price "Gouging" methods in the trade.
