This is why I keep my phone in lonely part of my house and I put tape over the cameras on my Samsung tablet the day I bought it. I've always assumed my devices are listening in. How could it go any other way 🤔

When i pass gas, i make sure to have my phone in the vicinity, just to confuse it. It may assess that it’s a nebula , a singularity of a gas cloud on the horizon of a black hole in interstellar space . 😁

LOL - this is NOT new info; check setting on EACH app within your device and turn off microphone on those apps that do not require microphone.

Turn it off whenever you're able to. Like during downtime/dinnertime at home. TBH, even though it's now been confirmed, I have only had this happen to me like ONE time, maybe I'm lucky,?

1000% when you're talking to someone in the room, with the phone set to the side, about something random....and then you unlock the phone to google and the first recommendation without typing a single letter is the question you just told your friend you were gonna ask...

I don't understand, we figured this out about 7 years or so ago. Then at least with the iPhone, they said it had to ask permission and there's the whole green light red light on the top right to let you know when the camera and mic were on, but nothings changed. You can go deep into the sub menu's, but that stuff still exists.

stick your cellphone in water , it would hard to listen to any one or you can put a switch on it and turn the mic off , yes it can be done but you have to understand how to do it .
