The biggest issue with promoting wrestlers is that fans prefer knockouts over chokes and part of the UFC money machine is entertainment, not just wins. Glad to see he’s developing to be well rounded.

Bo Nickal is a fucking BEAST on the mats. He came to our little high-school for a week in the summer to run some practice pre season. Wrestlers tend to have a decent record when they join MMA but Idk why I never thought to check him out after wrestling. Good watch, will definitely follow up on him more

The BO SHOW is coming. I feel like he needs to fight more often though. The UFC has so many fighters on it's roster though that this is actually becoming a problem. Fighting once every year or year and half makes for a long, uphill battle to a title shot. He is 27 and the clock is ticking.

His transitions from wrestling to bjj submissions is nasty it flows like water he when I watched him beat Donovan by triangle choke on the contender series i knew Bo is going to be a problem. The smooth mount to triangle was beautiful. He's a world class athlete that has preforming at a high level for years if he puts as much effort into striking a bjj as he did wrestling the middleweight division is in trouble

I thought he was injured or something, because they only promote him as dangerous, but then wait 9 months before a fight and then at least 6 more. If they announced a fight today, it would be reasonable that he'd want a 3month fight camp. That makes 1 fight every 9 months. That's a lot of sideline for a 'knock-out artist with world-championship wrestling. They must be preserving him from someone.
