All great stuff disco Dave, I quite like the husky sore throat voice. My advice if you do ever change Lulu, think about a drascombe coaster with a cabin, basically the same as the lugger just a bit longer with accommodation. Would go on your mooring ok, van will tow it, mast is shorter than the boat etc etc

Yeah I htink a cabin is definitely at the top of the list for the next boat. Ideally I would like something a bit more modern and something thats a bit quicker in lighter airs so it will give me more chance to get out on the sea in better weather. All being well maybe have a change up at the end of the 2024 season.

Well if you want fishing videos then iwould recommend Phil's channel over at youtube.com/@anotherangleuk .He's a proper fisherman. However I have wondered about getting a cheap fishing rod and seeing if I can catch my supper on the sea when i'm next out, so watch this space!!!

Thank you for this video. I will tell you something near to what "fat_tommo_ goes_boating" said : why not try to build a cabin on your lugger ? You could first do it with washing machine or lawn mower cardboards. Like this if you don't like what you have done... no money spent.🙂

I think a nice cabin/cuddy would be perfect for me. The Lugger is great but I think i'd prefer a cabin and a smaller cockpit. Maybe something a bit more modern aswell. We'll see, maybe at the end of 2024, I am saving up!!!
