Awesome job Amy. Once you're past the learning curve you will be fine. Love your enthusiasm. Be safe.

When you're moving with a load, you want to lower the load as much as possible, ideally to just above the ground, this will lower the center of gravity, and help with the tipping. Moving with the load 2 feet above ground is raising the center of gravity and that coupled with the uneven terrain is causing the tipping effect.

Exactly what I was going to say. I would add that backing up an incline with a full bucket compounds the problem. Also, smooth out the path.

Hi Amy, Not bad for a first timer. What would help that tippy feeling is to scrap the dirt humps away from in front of the grizzly.
@ColoradoMountainLiving3 ай бұрын
Yes, it was nerve wracking getting used to the tipping feeling.

Nice! I just stopped into see another practical review of the Kioti skid-steer. I've been familiar with the tractors for some time. I don't own one yet, but now I might have to get one of these, or both. BTW> It looks like your 'Vigo' is too easy going! Cracked me up that he was sleeping on the pile earlier in the video. Maybe you need an oogah horn?

Ok so I caught myself saying skid-steer & you are showing the track loader...technicality...I realize they have some capacity differences, but overall they are the same basic thing...thanks for a great vid & Merry Christmas!

G'day you two, greetings from down under. Just a thought, perhaps some of that rock at the bottom of the back fill to help with drainage?
@ColoradoMountainLiving3 ай бұрын
Yeah I think it will be a mix of small rock and dirt.

Will your snow plow fit on the front of the skid steer? So you don't have to plow backwards?
@ColoradoMountainLiving3 ай бұрын
The skid steer is just on loan for the week, but the plow fits on our side by side just fine!
@rjkdev3 ай бұрын
@ColoradoMountainLiving Sorry, I originally meant the snow blower. :-) Hope you have fun with it while you have it!

Is the Greenhouse foundation level? it looks like its tilted! or is that just the camera angle?
@ColoradoMountainLiving3 ай бұрын
Yeah you know the entire hillside is a big slope, so to get the camera level, it's tilted .

Man that is a rough operator: lower the RPM's to 1800 or so when all the power isn't needed and try to ease into the valve action.

Looked like fun Amy, till vigo decided to take a break in the freshly sifted dirt. Put him away while running the equipment so nothing bad happens.. you can also put some rock down to smooth out the path you are using, looks very uneven

I never understand why people have pets out when running heavy machinery. One you tuber ran over a puppy because they didn’t know it was behind a tire.

“They” should have looked. Vigo isn’t a puppy. Amy and Brian are intelligent and so is the dog.
