A bit of a different video, hope you enjoy, next up will be my comeback to competition! Heard about Confucianism in a couple of podcasts last year, and quicky saw paralells in teachings from the Wu Wei which I believe are useful when striving for ones sprinting potential. What do you think? :)

Hello my new coach, I just found you and I must say I resonate with you. You have true natural gift. You're right in order to reach your full sprinting potential it goes beyond physical effort. I think we will be good friends. Insight 1, to run faster one must first learn to run backwards. Try running backwards as fast as you can and try to go faster than that time. You will see great improvement in your sprinting. I know it sounds odd but it works. It's more of a mental training of your leg mechanics. I like to think there are 3 phases one most be potent in to achieve true potential Mental physical and spiritual. One might think spiritual? it helps to absorb energy more effectively into the body. This can be used or direct in the act of revitalization of the muscles, healing, anti aging and alot more. I'm a sprinter myself would love for us to talk more privately if possible. I wish you more Abundance

Mathias, It was interesting you put your best 200m in at the end of the video, but faded it out. Look back at the comment from me, 9 months (if its possible) or so ago. I mentioned then that, that 200m race was the only time you truly let yourself ‘run’….free. I mentioned you should try to emulate that way of running then, it seems now you’re beginning to recognise what I was trying to say. Sprinting, as you eluded to, is an art form condensed in a moment of time and space: the way you ran that 200m was ‘your’ true interpretation/expression of running, no one can take away that sprinting/running purity, in that space and place: I saw it and I know others would have seen it as well. Can it be replicated, I believe so; can your body cope with the work load your currently doing, only you know that. It says in another book, that only ‘one runner can win the prize…so run in such a way as to win the prize. I sincerely hope you are able to run free again, and again…and again. Best, Michael.

Trying to always improve and get better is in our nature I believe. The process is what we enjoy. Reaching a big goal and ancieving whatever we want does not create a lasting pleasure.

says somebody who will take one week off after the outdoor season, then go to Portugal in October and run 48x60m in spikes full gas and overanalyse the wind, temperature, humidity, moon phase, Greenland seal mating stage to 0.001 of a second, then if times are 0.001 slower than last year will run 48 more. Gurrrrrl

It's impressive that you know something about Chinese culture. Doing nothing literally translates to doing nothing, actually it means doing everything, and there is another way of saying, doing everything, but leaving nothing in mind. This is a very important idea in the Tao Te Ching.

Slightly above (faster) average (11.3-11.4). About 10.9 sec for 17-19 year old would be considered as fast (about top 50th time) and about 10.3 may be as top 1-5th.

Try to train less. More isn't always better, such things very individual. There is examples when some person didn't progress and with coach they desided to try train less (to sprint once per week, if I remember the case correctly) and this person got better after that and progressed.
@AnyDoeh

@El_Suertero
@El_Suertero 11 ай бұрын
@@AnyDoeh Not one time (total training sessions) but exactly sprint training sessions (sessions when you actualy sprint - accelerations, max velocity running, i.e. 30m 50m 60m 100m runs etc.). You should speak with coach, share thoughts about it and try to modificate training schedule individually to suit your physiology, central nervous system characteristics and so on. If you do double volume of your teammates and no results, may be there is too much of some kind of training and you're not recovering enough. Speak with coach, make some tweaks in program individually for you, experiment and see what will happen, after some period make control tests and evaluate results, analyse and do some other tweaks if necessary. Take notes about tweaks and changes, what and how much less or more. You should learn yourself and your organism to know wheather you are capable to withstand high volumes or frequencies of training or need less. Principle of individuality, from training theory.
