I've been unwell for a few days and binge watching Rich Larsen videos. Learned so much and super keen to get out and practice. Have watched many of these several times over the years and each time I get something new from the video as I see it through different eyes with more experience. They're so dense with information.

Turn tracks are one of training exercises I enjoy the most. It's actually fun, and when you rail a corner, it's super satisfying, and makes you feel fast, even if it's just one corner.

I was fortunate to go train with Destry Abbott earlier this year and we worked corners quite a bit. Your advice here is spot on. Thanks and keep the excellent content coming! 🤜🤛

Thank you so much for making these videos. They’re so helpful for me to understand the basics of proper technique. The 10 part series was exactly what I needed so I can start to be more comfortable on the bike.

Good video. Did a 3 hour mud race last week that was all rutted corners. I lost so much time every corner that by the end I was getting lapped by people not much faster than me. Got a little better at corners by the end.

Thanks for your videos! My body was in bad shape from ehlers-danlos when I saw your videos. Around that time I needed a new commuter. I picked up an 890adv as a way to motivate me to work on my health. Your videos videos not only got me stronger as a rider but physically aswell, as your correct body posture videos found the reason 17 years of pt didn't help. 8ish months and 5,800miles later, I just cleared a 6" drop in loose sand, and my body was doing fine the next day. This was my second time in the sand first time attempting a hight difference. I landed it no issue to park and blow off some of the adrenaline. Again thanks again for the amazing videos!

Great video, thus summers goal is to go feet on the pegs all the time, largely to see what that does for my corner technique, before I add the leg out back in. Give yourself less steps to get them separated before adding them back in.

Greetings from Germany. Always enjoying watching this channel and all learning lesson. Could really do progress with them. Rich, I have Beta RR 300 Racing 2022 - how important is it to have the correct spring rates?. Stock manual show quite some big range for the stock springs, though quite other charts are not so tolerant. 215 Lbs with gear - do you think 4.8 for the KYB and 57N/m for shock(Sachs) should be ok?

This is definitely one of the things I am struggling with. I feel like I am almost at complete stop when doing turns. I think one of the biggest things and correct me if that's wrong. You don't actually turn with steering wheel, but instead pressure on the handlebar side you want to turn while pressure the opposite peg of the turn.

I ride MTB's and have a question about the "lead with the head and chest" element. In the past year I discovered countersteering about 1 second before the turn, leaning the bike over before entering the corner, and my turns felt 1000% better. Is the "head and chest" the motorcycle equivalent? Getting things leaned over so the bike will turn? I don't see any obvious countersteer, but there has to be something or the bike wouldn't lean, correct?

Good advice. You might want to refer to Marty Tripes as a good example for your advocacy of standing when entering and exiting corners. He almost never sat, and his dad removed the seats from his bikes when training to reinforce this technique and improve his endurance.
