The wife and I noticed some loud bangs when we were in Northern Spain this year, Then we were parked up next to a river one evening for the night we went a walk just before the sun went down and saw two guys get out of a car and walk to the River and let off some fire crackers which made the same sound as you can hear, So I think the young ones have found a new toy and I guess it's just a matter of time before they set them off near a car or van or do someone some harm, I'm surprised the Police have not done something yet, Of course it could be quarry work, But that is what we have seen happen.

That paella didn't look that bad. If i may give some suggestions, it is better to unfreeze the seafood first, an then grill it in the pan not all at once but in small batches. This way the seafood grills insted of being steam cooked and releases more flavor to the base of the pan. Also, dont worry about the wooden spoon, I dont think nobody in Spain use them anyway. Yes, it is had to cook. Overcooked seafood tastes bad and it is too chewy texture. I think most of the sea food disliker have just tasted overcooked sea food and don't even know how tasty it can be when cooked perfectly!

Our lantern is Fenix CL25R. It is very old, it was only one we could find that was USB rechargeable LED lantern at the time. It costed almost 90 euros, I am sure the prices are now gone down and there is more cheaper and better options available. We bought it before we lived in a van and we were mostly tent camping in the forest. Our Fenix camping light is micro-USB and we would prefer it to be USB-C (like all our other equipments now). However, it is great little lantern and because it was so expensive we have never ever left it anywhere haha.

Theres no point of getting it in Europe. Cellphone coverage is so good in here, so it would be just a waste of money. If we want to have faster internet in really rural areas, i think 70 eur modem and 40 eur external antenna is much wiser in so many ways. Plus those moments when we are offline, we are more than pleased on the situation. :)

I just got Starlink in my home because we are isolated in two valleys and for 20 years Orange/France Telecom could not provide me with a decent service! I love it, it’s perfect. It is more expensive to get Starlink for RV (120 euros per month) than for a house 50euros per month, then 450euros for the Dishy and router for either. I am very happy with it in France.
