I'm late to this but have been very much enjoying this series so far! So much so I got the desire to dust off the buzzard and go exploring into J-space again. Little tip for anyone else watching as I assume you know this by now. If you form a fleet, you can tag the containers in data and relic sites instead of setting up BM's. I'll set up a perch for the sites and warp to containers from it... then... align back to perch, lock container, scan it and then tag with a 1 if I want to hack it a 2 if its worthless, cloak and warp back to perch... rinse and repeat. While there never stop checking dscan and grid. when done for all of them, jump in on the worthwhile containers. This allows you to overall be less visible on Dscan and a little more random in what you're doing while on grid for anyone possibly on grid with you. You can also just hack the valuable ones there and then if you wish and if you feel the space is pretty quiet but I always try to assume there is a cloaked Chloroken on grid watching me. You can take the tagging mechanic to just help with organisation if nothing else. Fly safe

Glad you're enjoying it and I've worked on my hacking techniques quite a lot in recent months, but it's always neat to get other people's ideas as well. Thank you for sharing and fly safe ;)

On rolling tactics: you can refit rigs and subsystems on T3C to fit them for rolling. Then you have 2 + HIC instead of the YACHT ...

Wonder if you could use a stasis web bubble to get the orca into warp. You could just launch one From a dictor instead of trying to get in range and target your orca. It has 15 000m AOE and 40% speed reduction

@chloroken Жыл бұрын
Haha, I actually forget at this point. But I think it was more of a "what is going on" than an actual list of questions kind of thing! Ransoming is fun, I highly recommend people play around with ganking instead of just instantly go for the kill. It's nice to be chaotic good every so often.

@chloroken Жыл бұрын
So really the thing about implants is that because I'm in J-Space and I don't have a citadel I can't swap them which makes me use cheap hybrid sets over specialized sets more often. it is very much so a downside of my play style.

Are you not killing explorers in your home system because you think groups might target you? Keep in mind that the J tag is visible in the video so it’s information made available anyway.
@chloroken2 жыл бұрын
Hey Palydin, the reason is that I don't publish my current jcode anymore. For a while, I was posting videos where I currently still lived in the system you see. Now, anything you see will be a previous home of mine. Therefore, the reason I don't kill stuff in system is to keep the current system a bit more of a secret. I hope this explains it better.
@palydinaugustus8202 жыл бұрын
@@chloroken I think it would be pretty uncool for someone to target you specifically because of your videos. You are doing a service providing potential inspiration on independent gameplay to the Eve playerbase.
@agenthaine Жыл бұрын
@@palydinaugustus820 uncool and against the spirit of the videos for sure, but it's a challenge and no doubt would be a very prestigious KM, that is extremely attractive to many players, he's showcasing techniques that are purpose built to minimise his risk, but there is always risk. I don't doubt by this point there's probably a small but dedicated following that are actively hunting him. Obviously I still have some catching up to do but I've loved this series so far. Brilliance and simplicity.

You probably already know this by now, but you have to type a message for the conversation request to go through.
@chloroken2 жыл бұрын
Yep - as you guessed, I got corrected on more than one occasion. The reason behind this confusion was because before March, 2018, you didn't have to send a message. Simply opening a conversation served as the request. The 'needing to input a message' thing was patched in to prevent abuse, and I never bothered to read the text in the window since I had missed that change due to inactivity.
