This is such a great series, and it’s not just the adventures that make for compelling viewing, it’s the entire style in which they’re framed, from the laconic narration to the informative text pop-ups…and I’m a big fan of the length too…they’re like Eve movies. Thanks so much for the effort you go to to bring us this amazing insight as to how to live life solo in New Eden.

11:55 Ah Yes, finally something I can leave a smartass remark about :D Indeed good Sir, as a seasoned pve-player with a fable for missles it is really satisfying to see them pop so quickly. I have to confess though, that, beside the power-fatansy part of it, it is my economist mind that pokes at me: "Bruh, if you shoot like 2 or even 3 missiles at the same time that's just wasting money :D (especially when shooting faction missles and using rapid fire systems which take forever to reload), shame on you!" :D Ps: Really like the "Strong but Kind" approach, since eve can be such a reckless place it stands out even more if you choose to be the better man from time to time.

4:08 Regarding the nullifier - the base reactivation delay for nullifiers is something outrageously long, like 120 seconds or something (fleet ceptors get a bonus that reduces this). The tech 1 nullifier specifically is even longer (150s, IIRC). Lesson learned: if you pop your nullifier, you should hide until you can pop it again, or you get fleet support that can secure enemy bubbles.

Letting that here since its the last episode posted, your work is truly amazing. You are the first content creator I've found who's able to make EVE video of such quality and CLARITY. The work you put behind everyone of those episodes is tangible, and it make your content one level on top of the rest. English isn't my mother tongue, but your videos are still crystal clear to me, and that mean something. May you wander the void with peace and bliss until the death of all suns !

Hey Klider, so happy you enjoyed it so far. As for multiboxing, well, I'm sure I try my best to make it look necessary or cool, but rest assured that's not the case despite my musings. Plenty of folk play with 1 account and love every minute of it. You can daytrip or do some light nomading with it, even. Don't feel pressured to make more accounts. :)

I'm new, how are you controling characters so fast software? Or multiple PCs?
@chloroken2 жыл бұрын
Hey, so we're using a program called EVE-O Preview. This program allows you to stack your EVE windows on top of each other on a single monitor (and single PC), and then use keybinds or clicks to switch between them. If you line up your User Interface perfectly among all your accounts, you're able to quickly cycle through the windows and click to issue fast commands to all clients. If you want to know more about EVE-O Preview, let me know and I can send you a link to the latest fork and some documentation to get started. Otherwise if you were just curious, thank you for asking the question!

You can get through a wormhole with only one click There is a thing in eve called “radial meine” that pops up after left click holding on an item in space or on the overview (you can set the delay to really short in the settings where it pops up almost immediately) So you hold on a gate (the graphic or the on the overview) and then you just flick the mouse and it would select jump (for gates and wormholes, dock for stations) Takes MAYBE 0.2 seconds….. It’s what I do
@chloroken2 жыл бұрын
I've since switched to the hotkey (default: "D") for navigating wormholes with one click. I've never personally cared for the radial menu (radial meine), but I appreciate your tip nonetheless just in case I hadn't found another method by now. Thanks!

I don't know why this bugs me so much, but I really wish you had called it "A Nomad's Tale".
@chloroken11 ай бұрын
That actually changes the meaning ever-so-slightly. You can actually go look up other titles with Tale in them and you'll realize what I'm talking about. Virtually none of them are possessive because it shifts the emphasis from Tale to the adjective.
@questtttttttt11 ай бұрын
@@chloroken I break it down like this; it's either, "What kind of tale is it? --A tale of the nomad variety." vs "Who's tale is it? --A tale belonging to a nomad." Since there is only one nomad in the tale--you--I think of it as your tale, and "Nomad's" acts in the possessive. Checkmate! :D This is not a genuine criticism btw, I'm really enjoying the series. My brain just keeps doing this shit!
