Born in Bristol, now live in Somerset, so a country gal. Also love all throes of crafts and creative things. Your comment re “life goes by in a blink of an eye” really resonated with me. Spent over 30 years in health and social care and education whilst bringing up our family. Had lots of plans to do exciting things when retired. Three years ago, I am now 60, I became ill with me. I am moderate to severely affected. I have to use an electric wheelchair for mobility. For every hour I am out of the house it takes me a day to recover. I totally agree with you take every opportunity and live life to the fullest every minute as you cannot control what is coming. New to your vlog, and am loving it. ❤

Just found your vlog, what a breath of fresh air you are , I'm 72 and like you I do all sorts of crafts , we are never to old to have a go at whatever we want to..all the best you I'll keep watching .. Having spent most of my adult life as an expat (now back in the UK) that resonated with me! Your photos remind me of Kaffe Fassett's where he uses natural backdrops to show off his quilts.

Aww, yes, I absolutely loved my narrow boat and I'd return in a heartbeat if poss. I was mostly moored on the Oxford canal, but we cc during the summer months. Sadly my husband passed and my second husband, had no interest but I don't think we ever lose the connection. I live in Southern Ireland now and I explore the waterways here by foot! Not the same. 🙃 Have a lovely weekend xx

Ahh sorry to hear of your husband’s passing, as that obviously changed your way of life . But living in Ireland!! How wonderful. My Mum was Irish and I just love the country. Good that you can still connect with the waterways there too. I’m hoping to do a Car Camp trip next year in the ‘motherland’……. Lovely to hear about you . You have a lovely day too! 🌸

@@Peri-mylifeinateacup indeed, narrowboat lifestyle sounds like my cup of tea as Ive been doing skoolie and vanlife in the States for almost 40 years. I was only in Sussex and Kent for almost 2 years as a child so it’s been a long time. Started out in Kenya and passed through England.

@@Gwlana-h2f hi - thank you so much for watching my little Vlogs, and so glad you have been inspired to start weaving again! It’s a little difficult to provide the info because each piece I made was bespoke and no two were alike. But my prices ranged from £60 to £240 . The Wools I used were a mixture of acrylic, alpaca and 100% percent Wool. The brands were various and sometimes I just picked up Wool from a charity shops . The measurements again were various because all the work was bespoke. Sorry if that’s not been very helpful but hope you get some idea from it. Good luck with everything and hope you keep watching and weaving! 🌸
