@kevinmarsh5162 ай бұрын
An interesting account of Maud's life. However, she was also close to her father Edward VII who died in 1910 and her other siblings: Albert Victor or Eddy who died in 1892, and her eldest sister Louise who died in 1931. Maud was known as 'Harry' in the family as she was considered a bit of a tomboy by many. She loved outdoor activities including horse riding and later cycling. When Maud died in 1938 her tomb in Oslo was not then ready to receive her body, so her coffin was secretly hidden away from prying eyes during the German occupation of World War II and she was finally laid to rest after the royal family returned from exile in 1945.

Again, pronunciation and elocution is key for a narrator. Many young ppl in their 20’s and 30’s often slur their words - I believe in an effort to sound intelligent, cool or whatever. I had to go over the words “lighting a cigarette” several times, finally with earphones at full volume to hear what I’d been waiting to hear all along! Ridiculous! Forget the faux feminine, whispy voice. We don’t need you to sound “cute”, we need to understand what you’re saying - PERIOD.
