@@Sagnag Can confirm, it bugs me whenever my mic freaks out and I don't notice it until editing... especially seems to happen when I'm using Nvidia Broadcast for noise removal, and it decides to clip-eat the first half syllable if I haven't talked for a bit and then start talking (mainly happens to my intro) 🤔

Fantastic episode! Im a HUGE fan of the seemingly 30% building and 70% interactions/shenanigans with other hermits... thats what makes Hermitcraft so great in my opinion, not the builds necessarily but the friends messing around doing silly things.

I find it frustrating that mojang has not added concrete slabs/stairs. That would be one of the main blocks you'd think would have them. I'm glad we got some more wood choices recently though, hope more come :D

Everytime I watch Hermitcraft there's always that vibe that I feel that differentiate the hermits. It's like there are the mature like xisuma, false and doc. Then there is the mid way like pearl, gem and impulse. And then there is Grian, mumbo and keralis

actually, 1189 is the episode count for the entirety of Hermitcraft. he's only made 62 episodes in season 10, which is still a lot compared to others. some hermits are just now reaching 30 episodes. and by entirety of hermitcraft, i mean just his POV

You could do the gate from the bottom to pop up from the floor when closed and drop to floor level when open . saves the view but blocks the entrance! Cub i think did something like that in one of his builds this season (but its a secret build so he might have to explain it or loop you into the secret)

Resin is great. I put in up in the corner next to patents for a glowing effect, on barrels like sap leaking, near smelters for lava dripping, on leaves like berries. Such a great building material

So, IT person here. Fair warinig, This will be a smidge nerdy but not technical. I will give a bit more insight in what it means when your PSU, or Power Supply Unit, dies it is cause for concern. The PSU is the heart of your PC, and its cables are the veins. When your PSU has issues it can, and likely will affect other parts of your system. If it dies, there is an obscenely high chance it will kill another component in your system or nefatively impact something attached to your system. This can mean your CPU, RAM, Storage or the USB devices attached as it may sent a power urge through your computer. This is likely why X's Audio Interface was being a bit difficult as it may have gotten one of those powersurges. When you PSU has died a thorough test of your PC is usually adviced to ensure nothing has been damaged, especially the motherboard as its a very pesky component to deal with. Where as Ram and your GPU just dies and stops working a motherboard can only be partially dead where a section of it doesnt work, or doesnt work properly which can lead to a lot of instability but its honestly pain in the back side to trouble shoot as usually people don't have a spare motherboard laying around. ~Appusle (This is supposed to be my displayname, but our Google Overlords decided otherwise and forces me to use a name I picked when I was like 12. Although It has its charms, I don't hate it.)

How to get a ton of creaking hearts: One person distracts the creaking and just keeps attacking it while the other gathers the resin. This way natural creakings won't go extinct. Creaking: the second mob that can actually go extinct in an area. The first being cave spiders. Feel free to list any other mobs that can go extinct in Minecraft. Extinction in Minecraft: when a mob that doesn't spawn naturally has its method of spawning destroyed. (Example: destroying all the creaking hearts in a pale garden biom.)

But unlike cave spider spawners you can craft creaking hearts if you have any resin left over to revive the species. (in vanilla survival) Also, good luck actually destroying all of them in one world :D

@@TheSanpletext yeah but natural creaking hearts are different, they drop experience when broken while crafted ones don't, so it's like recreating a species artificially. I could see a Hermit fighting against artificial creaking hearts in the future, like how X tried to help striders. The hearts are also a lot more rare on Bedrock so you may not even get enough resin for one if you break them all. I used Bedrock's Bamboo Jungle seed, which has a pale garden close to spawn, and only found two creaking hearts in the entire garden, which I didn't break I just used the single player version of my suggestion (hit the creaking until enough resin spreads to craft my own creaking heart, then wait for day to gather it).

@@SheddingVidNinja true, but you're guaranteed at least two spawns per chamber and trial chambers are incredibly common (make a level two map and you're almost guaranteed a trial chamber on it). Plus who's going to waist all that time breaking the trial spawner when you can just put blocks on all its sides to disable it. The warden can also go extinct if you break all the shriekers in your world since only the ones that spawned with the world can spawn a warden. Those placed by a player or created by a catalyst can't spawn one. They even look different, a natural one has more pronounced souls while a placed one has faded souls.

Adding slabs and stairs for everything limits creativity... or so said Mojang back in the day regarding the lack of Slabs and Stairs for Concrete and Terracottas... Personally i think that is utter BS! Thanks to MODS we can have access to these missing slabs and stair blocks... and let me tell you what, dirt/grass slabs and stairs add soooo much and its just dirt and grass. Concrete and Terracotta slabs and stairs would be FANTASTIC!!! And honestly are MUCH NEEDED!!! as well as more ACTUAL decor blocks/items such as benches, stools, chairs, couches, counters, shelves, tool racks, more planters, hanging and lattice planters, etc etc... so much that can ADD to creativity and doesnt require relying on ugly item frames or quirky minecart inside slab/stair so you can actually sit which is kinda dumb now 15 years later...
