If you are feeling a lack of hermit content, then i think it's really worth looking at a few more of the hermit's second channels and livestreams. It's obviously longer form content and a bit of a different style, but there is a lot of good stuff. I'm not sure if you follow Pearl or Tango, but both of them have been streaming hermitcraft quite consistently and posting VODs to their second channels and there is a lot of really good stuff there

If you are building a power plant, you need a transformer nearby. Electricity is useless unless it flows into a transformer of some form. Doesn’t need to be big, just a small segment for the wiring to flow into before it flows to anything else.

My only recommendation is to move the ladders after the work station on the chimneys to the back or sides. That way, the front looks less busy and gives details to the back/sides for when flying in from the back/sides.

I feel like, although the oxided Surplus sign contrasts with the bricks in hue, it is very close in value and it feels off because of it. It makes sense that the colour closer to the top is more blueish and at the bottom more yellow where the sun light hits. And having a darker shade between those two works because the contrast between shadow and light is most stark there. That's why it looks really cool on the silo and not as natural on the wall because there is no shadow there to justify that transition. (At least that's how I would explain it)

For the “SURPLUS” I think the soft green and soft red hues don’t provide enough contrast. Maybe the green needs some detailing or transition to make the letters pop. Next episode, you need to focus on the ground level. When you consider how IRL factories work, you need to have import and export sections of the factory to actually take raw materials and make them into other stuff. I know that that's not the point of Minecraft farms but especially with the Crafter block being released, it would make sense if you had a separate section of the industrial district for specifically crafting more complex items. The game Satisfactory is a great example of this, so if you want inspiration you can look at images of different Satisfactory mega bases. It would also be cool if you had a minecart line connecting the two buildings and just kind of going all over the place to add more movement into your factory, kind of how you did with the gold shop.

Sculk sensors don't hear rain. What you could do, though, is point an observer at a dry farmland block. It would give a pulse when the block hydrates, and again when it dries out

Hey Mumbo, just wanted to share some ideas on the brick parts of the factory. I know you already built the whole thing so I feel kinda bad for saying this, but in my unprofessional opinion going from the brick to a slightly darker gradient as opposed to a lighter might contrast the copper sign a bit more. With the granite I feel like the textures kind of blend where the oblong rectangle texture of the bricks contrasted more with the smoothness of the copper. I wouldnt entirely reccomend tearing down the thing and trying this, it does look good! I just wanted to share my thoughts, do with them what you will :) The storage silos and chimmeys turned out great by the way

I think something to really appreciate with your building process is how much you learn simply on the fly. Pre-planning your builds is in no way a less authentic way of building, but I think watching someone experimenting and creating something in real time can really inspire being able to think about the creative process in small, manageable steps. Rather than having an entire idea already conjured, having the ability to instinctively know what does and does not work can make for such a fun and rewarding process, which I think being a redstoner definitely contributes to. Being used to simply trying things out until they work has really given you a unique perspective on building that is worth learning from.

I think you should add smoke coming out from the smokestacks, made from either campfires or glass. I think it'll look very cool.

For desigining 3D structures such as silos I really recommend Tiny Glade! It's a super cute and fun sandbox and it could help quite a lot with the design and vision process for some builds. The game Rain World also has some cool industrial and megastructure art that could help with designing graffiti and complex background noise.

I actually like the reverse gradient thingy on the silos cuz it kinda gives the impression that the lids on the silos are putting shade on the area right beneath them

I absolutely love Mumbos base this season. The way he has pushed his creativity and is enjoying it is great to see. I hope him and Joel connects their base to terraforms to blend cause they both already blend so well together. I sure they will though.
