You did exactly the right thing. I had a similar encounter with a farmer once in Wales...I overshot a turning and ended up in his yard. He ended up saying..."You seem tidy, you are welcome to ride any lane on my farm."

yeah fair enough but i dont want to paint that guy in a bad light as he was actually quite understanding & friendly. i've possibly got a couple of other videos you might like to include in any future compilations... do you have an email address that i could send some links to?
