I like how we all have different ways we do things in our planners. I do a monthly log, but it is minimal. I use it for birthdays, appointments mostly, then transfer them to my weekly log. I just like having one place to see what the month looks like, so I can keep my activities on a sane level. Love your videos. So relaxing to see your creative process. Thanks.

I keep a three month calendar in the front of my journal that has appts, birthdays, special events, etc, and is color coded for different things. It has the calendar at the top and space under each month to write what's happening. Thank you again for another great video, they're so calming and informative! ❤️

I like the idea of a monthly log because you can highlight some events that are very very important for your next month and you have a more big perspective of your tasks. I love so much your style, it's so vintage and calm. Right now I'm going to start to set up my bullet journal for next year and you're going to be my inspiration.

I like my monthly log for keeping track of things like when bills are due, birthdays, and events that go over multiple days (like a convention or a vacation or something). Things that I'm more likely to need to reference more than a week out. Then my weekly spreads keep track of things that I need more immediate, constant reminders of - appointments, social events, deadlines.

This is the second I had watched this video and I still get help from it. So I use my monthly calendar to record past events such as medical appointments or to keep track of when I went to the gym. Also you mentioned that you are a short term planner. I realized that described me also. Trying to follow someone who can plan months in advance became frustrating. I don't create monthly logs, I use my future log for everything. Also, I bought a Lamy AL-star because of you, even though I don't like Lamy much anymore but.. this shape of fountain pen is really nice when it comes to my writing. :)

Hey! I have a bone folder too! 😊 I definitely need a monthly spread every month. There I can look at the whole month in context and also keep to dos there that aren’t week-specific. I use it with my weeklies kind of like you use your weeks with your dailies. Also if there’s not enough space, have you thought of doing the classic Ryder Caroll monthly with the numbers down the side but then using the whole two pages of the spread to write things down per day instead of just the one side of the page? I think you’d probably have enough room if you did it not just one the one side of the spread. Then you can make monthly lists on the next whole two page spread. Hope this helps! ❤️

What size nib do you use for your Ferris Wheel pen and your Lamy Lx? I like fine and extra nibs normally but you used medium once and it looked great when your wrote with it, but when I got a medium nib it came out weird and really thick. I think it maybe an issue with the ink. I used Diamine. Any good ink brand suggestions you have? It may also be an issue with the paper, because some of the papers with high gsm (>100) causes my thinner nibs to be really scratchy, Again may also be the ink. Again suggestions? Also I personally do a monthly log, just a 2 page calendar 6X6 blocks in an A5 Dingbats. It just helps me plan out my month better and not over schedule myself. It gives me a good full overview of the month. I am a very visual planner, so I need to see my month in full in advance to be able to properly plan and remember my events and tasks. I only do weeklies when it is a really busy week. So it depends on what kind of planner you are and how much you have to get done. As always you are an inspiration to get stuff done. Makes me want coloured in circles that show I too have completed tasks.
