I go there all the time. Like 8 times a year. Beautiful place and allot of history to on the place. I did a video on it also with the wife. I like your ideas on saving the great fishing.Video well done! Thanks for putting it on KZbin.

There is an old State record holding pond in my area that I wish would be revived. Some efforts were made but not nearly enough. In fact most of the ponds and bodies of water in my area are now self sustaining and not supported by Texas Parks and Wildlife and other agencies. Very sad. OUTSTANDING video. Great job with filming and production

Looks like it used to be quite the place in the 30's and 40's. I read that the dam recently failed there...sad, I hope they can restore it. Being from Iowa, Wisconsin wins over Minnesota any day for fishing. Minnesota has its big lakes, but Wisconsin has thousands of little gems scattered all over the place- especially in the driftless area. Back in the early 90's when I was fresh out of high school, I spent a couple summers rambling around on my days off from work fishing here in NE Iowa and SW Wisconsin. Just a broke college kid with a beat up old hatchback, some camping gear and fishing rods. I'd never heard of this place, hope they can get it restored to its former state.
