I am not a religious man, though raised Lutheran. I've become what I'll call agnostic, my definition: would like to believe there is a supreme being, but it hasn't been proven to me...yet. I do believe that folks should believe in what they want as long as it brings no harm to others, and brings them comfort. So, with that being said, Happy Easter to you.

Same. I could easily believe in a higher power but that power would be so powerful that it is not understandable by humans. In other words I don't think we can have it both ways; a god who can create the universe(s?), and is still personable, so even if god exists and we're a result of his creation by evolution, we're still on our own to try and be good and not harm others.

Do your research, this is not something to be wrong about. I would suggest a careful study of the Bible. Also check out "The Two Babylons" by Alexander Hislop for more information on how the world works.

Actually it's super easy, one just goes with being religious because if ya croak and nothing happens then ya never know about it anyway. I'm in nature every day, I know how the world works, what mankind has made of the world I am very much less worldly! If the Bible mentioned evolution as god's creation, I'd be all on board. Unfortunately most religious texts were assembled in a much less learned time, to be kind.

rryder994, I respect your right to believe as you wish. Can I share something with you? I am a nurse, and have been with many who have left our world. There is something that takes place in the time before they leave (last 7 days). They are seeing people and "things" that we don't. Some may say this is attributed to lack of oxygen or some other action within the body. I've even heard them mention something that took place in that room before they came there which they wouldn't have known. This is a regular hospital floor, not hospice. I cannot explain what is taking place, but it shows me a far greater respect of what we know little of. Peace to you my friend.

Has happened in may also. Drove my motorcycle in a feet of snow to the state car test facility one in early may. And when I had my fifteenth birthday and was allowed to drive moped, it snowed the whole morning. Middle of june. Had to wait several hours to drive legally for the first time.
