As far as patching goes, it ticks all the boxes (except the docked stuttering), otherwise I think this is it, I don't think there is anything else to add unless they are thinking of DLC's!

Great video! Honestly agree with everything you said about grinding, one of my biggest gripes with RPGS and will always drag me out of the fun for a while. Might wait and see if the developers do bring some stuff out to iron out the grinding or other smaller issues but my interest in this game is raised, cant believe I never heard of this because it seems like a nice little game to sink into for a bit without anything in depth (even though I love in depth systems for combat and farming). Also your cat puns were 10/10, purrfect to listen to every meow and then

Wow I am the same! I get many LOVE grinding but for me, I pick games that have the least grind. I love feeling rewarded since life kicks me in the butt enough. So my escapism needs to be relaxing. I feel just increasing the spawn rate 20-30% max 40 will make a drastic change! Hahaha glad my pawsome puns were fun to listen to ✨

Right!? Like grinding can be okay if done right but a lot of games just don’t do that and you’re eventually hit with a brick wall because you’re not a high enough level or skill to do it. Working for the reward is one thing, having to struggle to the point it isn’t escapism or enjoyment is another and ruins so much immersion

I was curious about this one, due to how cute and charming it seemed. But it’s a shame that it doesn’t seem to stand up with a game like Stardew Valley. It seems to be rather same and repetitive, with side quests being tedious, a lack of variety in the enemies, and the loading times being long. I’ll be passing up on it for the time being. It is nothing like Stardew and we should not compare them cause the devs said this is a Farming RPG and not a life-sim game, tbf! As a starter I think the devs did a really good job, super cozy and cute, but it won't be a must-buy for everyone ✨

Great review! Just discovered your channel looking up reviews of this game. The reception seems to be mostly "okay" to "poor" so I'm going to hold off until there are some developer updates/patches.

I think many of us had our hopes too high especially with the delay of Rune Factory 5. But in the end, this is the game that the devs always promoted so I feel some have been unfair in the sense that, the devs showed us this, the demo showed us this. Hope I am making sense. Now sure, there are much cheaper indies that give hundreds of more hours of content, but that does not mean this is a bad game. It is a fun experience with a fair share of flaws 🐻

If this one had stellar reviews right out of the gate, I would've pounced (see what I did there?). I had mentioned in another review that what I'm really looking for is something to follow in "Dark Cloud 2's" footsteps.

This was a great review! Good Job! I wanted to play this game but wasn't sure. I think those bugs you mentioned outweigh the good for this game. Is it just me or does the framerate seem less than 30 fps sometimes.

This looks pretty charming. I'll have to give it a try when I'm able. Can you customize your cat? It helps if I can make the cat, look like my cat. I think I hear this often: that NS games tend to run better in handheld rather then docked. Is this the case often? I want a Docked version, I'm a couch gamer through and through. But if half the games play badly while docked, I could save myself over 50 bucks getting the lite version 🤔

I WISH we got a full customization option! We only choose from a few preset colors, that's about it. Honestly, it depends on the game, some perform better in docked mode. It's weird. I wish I understood why tho. I would recommend you get the normal switch not lite, I heard text is exhaustively small on many games. I can only imagine how even this one, would be readable on the lite 😱 plus, playing Nintendo games in docked mode which is soooo beautiful!

@@MissBubbles that's good to know. It definitely helps if I can see everything when playing lol. I loved my GBA and PSP, but realistically they were basically home consoles to me. I got very little travel value out of either. Only 1 time comes to mind. An hour long wait for the bus.

I get you!! I never take the Switch with me other than bed, living room and that's it so I don't really care that it's a bit more difficult to carry with you compared to let's say a 3DS. So I just want you to make sure you know everything so you don't end up spending less but then getting annoyed by other factors. Let me know what you end up getting ✨

This was a great review and gave me a much better understanding of the actual gameplay than other stuff I've seen about Kitaria. Personally this doesn't look like what I'm interested in right now, so I will probably pass on it and keep playing other cozy games with action rpg elements.

I am so happy to hear this! The aim was to set the audience's expectations in a way that they know what the gameplay actually is, rather than what they "thought" it is. As I mentioned to another member, some of us hyped the game up way too much especially with our itch for a life-sim (with the delay of RF5). But that does not mean we should say this one is bad cause it is a Farming Adventure RPG and not life sim. I will be creating a cozy games video soon so I'll have some gems for you 💎

There is one on PC right now, Sun Haven if you are looking for some fighting/skill progression/dating aspects. Of course there are Rune Factory, Stardew Valley, Graveyard Keeper (no dating), My Time at Portia (avoid switch version at all costs lmao), etc. I will be posting something about cozy games on the channel this month, stay tuned it might interest you 👀

I'm sorry but this game look like a slide-show on the Switch. Baffling how games of very dated graphical standards can run so poorly on the system. If they can improve the performance I'd consider it, but $40 for a physical copy of a game that studders that bad? I don't usually complain of low frame rates, but it's so jerky that it's all I can notice in this video.
