One feed I looked says to use jackfruit as a sweetner so I must give it a go.

If you don't have muffin cases, no worries. Just use a deeper baking tray and turn your little muffins into a " tray bake " once baked and cooled, you simply cut into slices. I've usually got one pre-baked and partially sliced in the freezer. Leave on the counter top to defrost, complete your slicing up, a little dusting of icing sugar, plate up and serve and enjoy.

A good trick to prevent the blueberries from sinking to the bottom of the muffin while cooking is to coat them in flour before putting them in the batter.

Delicious looking muffins. I could almost taste them. And the door is fabulous. Goes well with the green of the garden. But of course you knew it would. But all that work getting your garden looking beautiful and most everything died while you were away. Maybe next time you could pay someone to take care of it, or make muffins for them. I had to smile at the Fox eating your package. But maybe he was really hungry. At least he got a good meal. I know your flat is below street level, so I guess someone probably dropped her beauty products. I wonder, has that happened before? I got a glimpse of The Lady of the House relaxing on the sofa. FYI...25% vinegar works great when you spray weeds with it, especially weeds in cracks. It kills the roots within 48 hrs. Regular cooking vinegar is only 5% vinegar. Very easy and safe.

Nice job, Nicolas! I see commentor Madge and I live in hot climates, brutal summers, hate to see our flowers wither. I, too, have found high quality faux flowers the answer to keeping a year round colorful garden, especially the window boxes. Good ones look real, will not fade, and a great alternative in hard to reach/ water spaces! Love the high gloss door!❤️

I live in a south facing apartment and can't keep plants alive - I have some excellent faux evergreen plants in lovely planters with fairy lights threaded through which look beautiful in the evening - and the plants will never die!

Mixing ingredients by hand is very much a meditative experience. I hardly use my electric beaters. That’s why I purchased a “very” large mixing bowl! And… parchment paper is so versatile isn’t it! Love watching your videos….so peaceful. Masterful idea to add batter to even out muffins! The results are beautiful, and your home must smell so good! What a way to spend a Sunday morning! Did you say what the new colour of your door is? Very nice. Matches the green in the trees in the pots perfectly. Those muffins would cost a lot if you were to buy them and I doubt you could find any as full of blue berries as yours. They look like flowers of some kind in those muffin papers. Love them.

Love that you take the time for yourself to make homemade blueberry muffins. Its such a pampering sort of thing to do. I actually think I love your parchment liners way better the the regular liners. Looks kind of upscale, like a bakery. I live alone and also freeze biscuits or muffins in packs of two for the freezer whenever I bake. So nice to have those little treats ready with a nice cup of tea or coffee at a moments notice. I love my garden and my neighbor waters for me when I am gone. Plants have gotten to expensive to let them die. Then you can thank them by making a batch of blueberry muffins in a nice basket with a cloth napkin . I'm sure they would love it!
