A People Zealous for Good Works - Titus

Guest speaker, Lorne Potter, teaches on Titus 2:11-3:8
“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people.” [Tutus 2:11]
Salvation from the guilt and wrath for sin so that so that those who trust in Christ will not
perish in hell but have everlasting life. But, salvation also “to purify for himself a people
for his own possession who are zealous for good works.” [Titus 2:14]
The purpose of God’s grace in salvation through Christ not only saves us “from”
something, but saves us “to” something!
Jesus died to secure not only our forgiveness but also our fruitfulness!
