A Perfect Circles drumming is some of the best I've heard. it's quite simple but extremely distinct. those fills are perfect. I miss that band more than any other.

3:33 that was so cool, idk music theory well but that was like dotted quarter notes on the cymbals and it felt a bit laggy (in a good way), and then you're thrown back into that melting groove and main riff. Really suspenseful and exciting

Not dotted on the quarter notes. 3/4 waltz feel but with accent on the third beat. Real simple but it sounds like it's a lot more than what it really is. The enchanting magic of music
