What a charming city! What they call a tram, in America, we used to call a trolley. Did it have a bell that went “Clang, Clang, Clang”? That Fado show was delightful. I’m surprised, Deanna, that you didn’t join them in song. You could have used your “Universal Translator”.

No bell for the tram. And yes that would be cool to see how the translator would work there but it wouldn't be allowed because silence is enforced at the show! Although I guess you could put it on silent and just read the text. Haha Thank you so much!

That fado show at Tasco do Chico was one of my favorite experiences on the whole Europe trip. The musicians were phenomenal and it was amazing seeing them in such a close setting.

Yes I agree. Such an intimate setting and we were serenaded all night. So happy I was able to capture some of it on film!

Cedric, could you tell that the street was Pink? Looks like you guys had a blast on your trip! Great video Deanna! I like the transitions between shots.

Cedric says he could tell! Haha - Thank you, some transitions were by chance, like the flipping upside down while I'm looking outside the trolley window, that was an error in camera orientation and I kept it in!

I really like Lisbon, but I went in the summer and had a really bad time with the stairs, I think if I go again it will be in spring or autumn! hahaha ❤

Great tips! We went in May aka the spring and the weather was perfect! I did get hot going up and down the stairs but it was cool enough outside to make up for it! Thanks so much!

Nice video! Loved your segment on Tasca do Chico. Unfortunately it looks like they’re closed on the days we’re in Lisbon. Keep up the great work

@@DeannaTroyTravelsJust Lisbon and planning to go to Sintra. We found a killer deal for a transatlantic cruise from Lisbon to Port Canaveral about a year ago before prices spiked. Saved us the long flight.

@@scottandtracytraveling Amazing!! I will have a video coming up all about Sintra too! I believe I'll be posting it in October, right before your trip! It's a stunning place!
