Good morning GB I’ve been watching you for years now and just got myself an old town kayak can’t wait to try it out.
@MSmith-jf5wo3 ай бұрын
You'll like the Old Town (according to what model you got), but if you tend to fish standing up - they tend be a little "Tricky"! (Fell out of mine, and went over to Native Titan - got the 10.5 and the Titan X in 12.5). Talked one Old Town Friend into selling his Old Town Minnkota, and getting an Old Town PDL. We put a Newport NK180 motor on the back, and he LOVES it...! Now, he can get to spots fast, and still have the "Luxury" of pedal drive to go in reverse, without having to use his hands when playing a fish!).

One notable difference that three fishing generations makes, is that a jig and pork chunk lasts a month or longer, while these yummy plastics last for 3-4 bites. All of my two digit delta bass, with the exception of two, all ate a black and blue 1/2 oz jig.

Ok Greg we had a huge Cicada hatch here in NW AL this spring and the carp were eating them off the top of the water against the bank. I thought it was bass at first. I tried to trick them into eating artificial lures but didn't get any takers. 👊👍

Hey them big bumble bees did that to me the other day on the lake with no wind . I killed 5 different ones by hitting them in flight with the tip of my rod it will cut them in half if you hit them hard enough . They only came by 1 at time randomly but they wouldn’t leave when they started buzzing me so I made them go to sleep with the fishes .
