Arbitrary, subjectice donjon score of seven. I loved how you presented the history of the site from pre-Roman times to present and changes made to it over the years. I'm not a big fan of graffiti that happened after WWII. Another job well done!

Yes, agreed the more modern graffiti tends to feel like a smudge on these historical buildings!

I'm probably not a seasoned enough evaluator to score Pons; however, I did notice a couple of 16th or 17th century buildings (one turreted) near the donjon. What purpose did they originally serve? Convent, barracks, bishop's palace?

Good eye. That would probably be the manor constructed by the lord of Pons around 1630. It proved an even more comfortable place to live than the donjon. (Got it from Wikipedia)
