Miyuki in Kaguya-sama references a suitor in the *Tale of Princess Kagaya* that was tasked to bring her a jewel from a dragon. In that tale however, he was unable to complete his impossible task. This Miyuki here in Kaguya-sama surpassed his counterpart from the original tale that he is named after, as he was able to successfully present the jewel from the dragon to Kaguya. I love how deep the connections this series has with the Tale of Princess Kaguya.

Ahhhh the cosplay! Cute, and cute reaction! This is about the halfway point of the series, by the way! In a previous video you were talking about some unique things in this story compared to other romcoms, and I think this is one of the most unique things (though I couldn't say it back then, for obvious reason); Most other romcoms would just end after this finale, but this series keep going wayyyyyyyy past this! So it's refreshing to see, and it's also just 'more Kaguya', a series we all like so much!

They skipped context as to why kaguya lost in the kiss. Short story is it’s really too soon to tongue someone in your first kiss but the longer version is she called nagisa to ask her how long was appropriate to wait for tongue and she told kaguya however long it was like three dates or months or something but also that it only took her 40 seconds after first tongue to get to smash as well which embarrassed kaguya as she realized what she did.

The recently announced movie will cover the next arc in the manga, but there's quite a bit more manga left after that, so here's hoping for a season 4. Season 3 did really well in Japan, so I think there's good cause to be optimistic!

I swear I have seen like 20 reactions From diferente people and no one has guesed or have idea how Things turn out later for kaguya and Miyuki, I know this is just a romcom but I really think the Akasaka(the author) is a Genius of story telling

The last episode has two big hints concerning season 4, the minute hand on the clock tower when they zoom in for the Kiss is at 4, and Kaguya's eyes at the end have stylized 4's in them. There is also the recent announcement of the new movie that will take place right after this season that will set up things for season 4. I also believe "the end" at the end has more to do with the fact that we are longer focused on the confession/or the games they were playing with each other to get the confession, that aspect has come to an end.

Something to notice with the last scene between Kaguya and Hayasaka. The idea of the french kiss is that is something more for lovers, so it's natural that Tsubasa and Nagisa do it like that but it had to be to much for Shirogane, that's why Kaguya screw up. The follow up is more comical but that's on you if you decide to read the manga, and i 100% recommend that, you can even react to the manga, that would be nice cause for my experience at least it didnt ruin anything when i was crying with the last episode cause it was a piece of art. Best romcom... ever.

Karen down! Karen down! Sniper on clocktower. Appears to be using the deadliest weapon known as the French kiss. Also Kaguya's first kiss is a french one now that's some courage. The build-up, the comedy and the serious moments made this one of the best payoffs in the rom com genre. Also the sad reality is that if this was any other rom-com you might just find that progress from other arcs just suddenly disappears but not a single bit of progress is lost throughout the series and that's what makes this show so special. Every character is progressing forward. Ishigami, Hayasaka, Maki, Kashiwagi etc. all taking steps forward.

The perfect set up and pay off that's meant for kaguya and miyuki and them ONLY as it fits their characters as individuals and a pair!! Our main couple are honestly meant for each other in the best of ways- and it's not only because they simply like each other for superficial reasons or just because... they truly like, genuinely admire and ended up self reflecting a lot and aspire to be better themselves as a result of their affection and care for the other even if they are in denial of said feelings. Even that denial and war in their head is them both feeling unworthy or inadequate as they need validation from the other as a yes to go forward; being able to acknowledge the issues they have as people and in their relationship, then working on it to be a better person and GROW is the early steps to having a healthy relationship, and that is something I hope to see more of after the confession as it will be truly beautiful in the best of ways that brings the best in kaguya and miyuki both individually AND together. This couple is just IT❤️❤️

The manga dedicated an entire chapter to the bedroom talk with Hayasaka near the end. Of course it´s way more explained in detail why Kaguya loses in that and included a phone call with war criminal Kashiwagi. If you´re interested: chapter 138.

That finale hits this series at the top romcom for me way up than ever.
