A PERFECT Sea Day on Celebrity Edge - Is it Relaxing... or Busy???

I don't know about you... but I just LOVE a sea day on a cruise! There are lots of activities to do around the ship... or you have the perfect chance to just chill and relax! Which do you prefer? For us, it is all about relaxation!
We have a nice breakfast and then leisurely wander the ship, exploring areas we had never been before. We end up spending quite a bit of time in Eden, which is such a unique area of the ship. It is a large observation area at the back of the ship, that actually looks like a bubble from the outside, but gives you great panoramic ocean views. And inside... lush live plants everywhere with unusual seating... think hanging chairs.... but also comfy couches. And the best lunch spot on the ship with delicious sandwiches!!!
Our other favorite spots of the day were the coffee bar with it's yummy custom-made coffees and pastries, not to mention floor-to-ceiling windows with ocean views! The pool... for obvious reasons. The solarium once it started raining, we had the perfect covered pool and hot tub area with peaceful spa like music. And in the evening, the martini bar with an awesome bartender show! The place comes to life with lights moving to the music! And ending the night in the theater with a fabulous Motown show. It really was a perfect sea day!!

I like the jazz you played behind narrating. I sailed Celebrity's previous classes. I like them better. I don't see anywhere to go besides the Martini Bar and Eden and The Club for social mingling. They're all open and big. I guess the Social Crafts is small but that's kind of a sports bar and people are watching games there if they're on. The Martini Bar is much different on this ship than Solstice type of ships. What I'm missing is the dancing and intimacy of the lounges where the performers and others are closer to you. I don't even see one space like that. And you have to pay for a front of the ship deck space where you never did that on former classes. I'm glad to see a few quiet areas and deck space and thanks for pointing them out. And I do like that Celebrity let you tape what looks like an excellent Motown show in the theater. Some lines won't allow recording in their theaters.

Wow Jason-you're really keeping that weight of. You look great. So many have blimped out during co-vid. It's nice to see someone taking their health seriously. I'm sure you feel great too. The 'cruise life' does not necessarily mean you have to be out of shape. In fact it's so much easier to enjoy excursions and activities when you feel good and aren't hauling around all the excess baggage. Kudos. You're a great example. I think Anthony Bourdain is the first person to popularize the term "eggslut" and it means a chef that adds eggs to every recipe! I'd love to try eggslut in L.A. this video was so wonderful! I know nothing about Celebrity Cruises because they aren't near me so I just never thought about it, y'all have made it look so intriguing and lovely. This specific video is also really soothing. Y'all always have a calm happy energy even when partying hard or disliking something, but this video has such a relaxing energy. I'm 56 years old. Never been on a cruise. Caught a video of you guys at Lake of the Ozarks, where my whole family are from. My parents were the only odd balls that left that area so I was raised in Iowa. Then caught your other videos of you all on cruises. I watched until I literally feel asleep sometime after 4am. I'm hooked and want to go on a cruise. Could you please share more info on cost? Also, seems like you have to be really tech savvy, which I am NOT! Good morning and thank you guys for doing all the filming I am so enjoying this but I have one question no rush on feeling like you have to answer right away but like on the celebrity edge or with any cruise do you guys give yourself an allowance as far as how much money you will spend like at the specialty coffee shops or mainly just like the little things like the specialty coffee shops or specialty desserts anything like that involving food like a specialty sandwich anything that is not included with the cruise or is most of the stuff on the celebrity edge is that all inclusive I’ve only been on Norwegian so I’m following you guys and learning that there are other cruise lines that offer just as good if not better like the tropical place they are on the edge and The solarium I mean that is like my haven just been enjoying what God created
