I am on Joy in February, my first REAL NCL ship. (Did a Gem one nighter to nowhere in NY before they made it a law that they had to stop somewhere). This video is making me cry so hard! Last ship I was on was Independence of the Seas in April 2019. We were not planning on cruising in 2020 b/c we needed vacation to move my MIL by us. BUT, nothing for us in 2021 has hit hard. I should have done at least two this year. I normally book at least a year in advance. So happy we are getting back at it!

I'm so grateful for videos like yours and others. Covid-19 shut down happened here in Washington just after I finished a year of treatment for cancer so I've been quarantined since July of 2019. We are not yet fully open however at least I'm not afraid to go outside.watching you all and others living life has helped keep me sane.

Coming to the top of the gangway and stepping onto the ship brought out emotions in me like I was actually the one stepping on board for the first time since the pandemic and in my case it’ll end up being 3 years and 2 months. Seeing the excitement of all my favorite travel KZbinrs makes me want to try and book again. Our first family cruise got cancelled cause of COVID. It was gonna be SO much fun.
