I can totally see the link between Scripture in Nature after I started raising a garden! Anytime I am working with His creation, I can see Scriptures lessons played out. It's really an incredible thing!

Brian's Random Thoughts, from 03:00 through about 03:45, Dr. Schroeder mentions that Moshe only received part of "the bible" (the Word?). What he speaks is very close to the truth, and is what caused Yehoshua to be hung on the tree to die (Act 10:39). What Dr. Schroeder may be unknowingly alluding to is that most of us have been allowed to see the physical but not the spiritual. The revealed Word only refers to physical representations while hiding the spiritual behind them.

Yehovah has never tried to do something in all of eternity. His plan of the old covenant was no mistake, had not one imperfection. From one instant to another on the globe, there are so many billion possibilities. Yehovah knew every single and combination of them before he finalized His plan. He knew full well He was going to implement the New Covenant long before He finalized His plan. His Word has never returned to Him without doing it's intended duty. He is. All Mighty. He knows Every thing possible to know at any and every instant. He has never thought nor made any mistake, isn't now, and never will for the eternity of endless sextillion eons. His understandings are perfect. His judgments are perfect. His love is greater than any man has seen. His knowledge and His wisdom are Greater than any man has ever seen. He is perfect in every way, including Charactor. He is All Mighty. Nothing is too hard for Him. Praise His name for all ages.

Perhaps the best argument I've ever heard was by Disraeli. He was asked by the monarch of England what proof did he have that God exists. It's said Disraeli thought for a moment & said "The fact that the Jewish people still exist, is proof God exists." (I may not have the quote exactly, but that's the gist of what was said.) If you think about it, it's true, after all the persecutions, progroms, etc, etc. It makes perfect sense. IMO

The Bible's stance: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." And the stance from most non believing scientists : "In the beginning there was nothing, and all that nothing exploded into everything " which stance sounds most plausible?
@Jemoh662 жыл бұрын
I am that I am is not static. It means that God is Being. The Jewish sages gave us this when THEY render it so in the Septuagint. “I am the being one” I am the one who is. I will be what I will be is a condescension of god in human language.

The thought that popped into my mind when hearing the incidents with the idols, was not that God was showing weakness, but God was testing Moses to see how well he was progressing. Moses passed the test each time. Compare with the account of Job being tested.

The lesson about the “I Am” vs “I will be” was very interesting. So what was Yeshua’s answer to the rabbis in the New Testament when they asked him about his relation to Abraham in John 8:57-58? Does Yeshua say, “Truly Truly I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” Or does Yeshua say, “Truly Truly I say to you, before Abraham was, I WILL BE.”

About the I AM subject........I agree, to say I AM at Ex 3:14 is a miss-translation, and to try to tie it in with John 8:58 is such a feeble attempt to try and make Jesus God.......AT John 8:58, here Jesus is answering a question as to his AGE and in reply to the question about his age he says "before Abraham was " Ego-Eimi " (Greek) In English that is to say "I am" is not a very good translation, it is exceptable grammar in Greek but not English. The apostle Paul also applied "Ego-Eimi" to himself when he said " I am what I am " does that make him God, or tie him into the Ex 3:14 which you quote ? What about the blind man who Jesus cured, he also said "I AM" (ego-eimi) what does that make him. Secondly, at Ex 3:14 the Hebrew is "Ehyeh -Asher-Ehyeh and should be translated as "I will be" as it is everywhere else in the OT...............so there is no connection form John 8:58 to Ex 3:14 BYI There was NO capitals in the Koine Greek so making it read "I AM" is a feeble attempt to try and connect John 8:58 with Ex 3:14
