In 1 John the ''Anti-Christ'' in context is referring to Gnostic Christianity. The Gnostic didn't believe that Jesus came in the flesh. They believed in a doctrine known as ''Docetism.'' This theology teaches that Christ's body was not human but a phantasm. 1 John was condemning ''Gnosticism.'' I love the video and great job brother Nehemia.

Two related Greek words used here convey the basic idea of forceful action or endeavor. Some Bible translators have understood them in a negative sense (that of acting with or suffering violence), but the context and the only other Biblical occurrence of the Greek verb, at Lu 16:16, make it reasonable to understand the terms in the positive sense of “going after something with enthusiasm; seeking fervently.” These words evidently describe the forceful actions or endeavors of those who responded to the preaching of John the Baptist, which put them in line to become prospective members of the Kingdom

The Parallelism in John 20:22 makes sense in the context of them being sent to Baptize (forgive) and then bestow the Gift of the Holy Ghost (power to overcome, sanctification). The second which they hadn't done previously but would start to do in Acts 2.

To those who would slander....beware. The Talmud looks at the cases in the Torah where people were afflicted with tzara’at, and concludes that tzara’at is a punishment for slander. This, I believe, is the key to understanding this phenomenon. Slander is a social sin. It is a sin that we indulge in to enhance our position within society or because of an inflated sense of that position. When people run to hear the latest gossip or to read about the latest scandal, society becomes the silent partner in this sin. The punishment/impurity of tzara’at is corrective both for society and for the sinner. Tzara’at is a spot. Another word for spot is stigma. The Torah is telling us that society must stigmatize this person, must see his behavior as reprehensible, not as desirable. This is why, unlike all other impurities, tzara’at only renders the person impure when a Kohen declares it impure. Society must judge this person, must declare him undesirable. This is the first step in their mutual rehabilitation.

Jesus Yeshua was against the scribes and Pharisees who added man's laws. As a Karaite Jew, you know very well about following the Scripture only! Not the lying pen of the scribes and the heavy burden of all the man made Babylonian laws from the Talmud. THAT is what John was referring to as antichrist! Anti-Torah! Because Jesus Yeshua led them out of BS of the Pharisees(Matt 23) and to a easier yoke of the Torah. Anyone who camr out of Babylonian Judaism to the pure Word was warned to not go back! Jesus is the MESSIAH! The one whom Moses said would come aftet him and to listen to him! NOT the wicked, anti-Torah jews who did come against Yeshua and did sentence him to death, although he laid down his own life as the final sin sacrifice on Passover. Yah bless.

Interesting, Islam says similar things about Jesus (peace be upon him) as a follower of the Law, who was sent to remove some of the restrictions that had been placed upon Jews by their own actions. And that there were those among the Jews who changed the interpretation of the Torah with their tongues, ie -- using tradition to alter God's commands.

Unfortunately, quite sure that in this otherwise treasure of a presentation, I heard (as is often the case when the discussion is about Jews or Jewish by Jews or Jewish) the term "Jew" used when the appropriate and accurate term would be "Hebrew." Yeshua, a Jew; Moshe, a Hebrew, not a Jew. Although it's been long-taught that the term "Jew" referred to the tribe of Judah, it's my understanding that there were no "Jews" until there was a Judaea..
@whoobo3412

My thoughts are any resident of Judea could be called a Jew at that time but not necessarily out of the tribe of Judah. In John 8 Messiah dresses them down pretty good. Even went as far to call them offspring of Vipers. .... Might be like the tares that crept in unawares, you know that the wicked one sewed. The ones that wiggled their way into power positions and mingling among the people too. Kinda like operation paperclip. After WWII some Nazis made their way here. They had children. They're born here so their technically Americans but they carry the old old ways. You wouldn't believe how many of our current political figures and philanthropist" came out of operation paperclip. Anyway just my theory but I think something like that happened in ancient Israel. If Messiah was a threat to their power structure and economy ( imagine if he came today?!! How happy would big pharma be🤣???) Anyway the elite didn't like him

@@whoobo3412 Yeah, I'm not seeing where your first sentence is any different from the point I was trying to make. To clarify, prior to the Dispersion and the Babylonian captivity, no matter which was your tribe, you were a Hebrew; for example, Samuel was an Ephrayimite (from the half-tribe of Ephrayim), Gideon from the half-tribe of Manasseh (the two half-tribes were originally the tribe of Joseph), David from the tribe of Judah. They were all Hebrews, but none were Jews, since “Jews” referred to those from the Southern Kingdom taken to Babylon who later returned to the land after the Captivity ended and settled in the province named "Judea." The name (which is not a Hebrew but a Chaldean word) is first introduced in the Scriptures in Ezra 5:8 as a province of the Persian Empire. While the Southern Kingdom (aka “Judah,” prior to the Captivity) had consisted of the land allotted to the tribes of Judah and Benjamin (Levites, who were allotted no land, also dwelt there), by the time of Messiah Yeshua the land had been divided by their captors into three main regions: Galilee to the north, Samaria in the center, and Judea to the south. The province of Judea, as distinguished from Galilee and Samaria, included the former territories of the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, Dan, Simeon, and part of Ephrayim. This area, known as the upper hill country, extended from Beth-el in the north to Beth Zur in the south, and from Emmaus in the west to the Jordan River in the east.

(Qayin, from a Hebrew word meaning “to procure.”) "I don't believe Adam was Cain's father." Not seeing where you explain this statement, so: 1) you think that there was another guy named Adam running around? 2) you think that Yehovah was the “father”?! 3) you think that “knew” means “came to know in a social setting”? 4) you think that his father was the naw-khawsh at Genesis 3:1?! 5) you have a verse(s) which state or, at the least, imply so? 6) ??? Before you launch into something, please consider that the “mark/sign” at Genesis 4:15 is undoubtedly The Name, a guarantee to anyone he met that Cain was under the protection of Yehovah. “Why is Cain's genealogy separated but Esau is not??” Not sure what you’re asking here. Cain’s genealogy and Seth’s being born are both cited later in chapter 4; Esau’s genealogy at Genesis 36 takes up the entire chapter. “(they were mingling with the kenites in Babylon)” Making Kenites descendants of Cain requires mental gymnastics. Yithro, Moshe’s father-in-law, was a Kenite, Judges 1:16; they showed kindness to those being led out of Egypt, 1 Samuel 15:6. They were most probably a clan that separated from the Midianites in the south and settled in an area adjacent to southern Judah. They had a mutually beneficial relationship with the children of Yisra’el, and were probably incorporated into the tribe of Judah, 1 Samuel 30:29. Completely agree with you about Nehemia Gordon - an all-time favorite teacher of mine, as well..

Which the Jews say the Romans came from Esau who killed nimrod. So the Spartans 300 was Esau against the Persians and Rome is the legs of Daniel's statue. I'm not saying all that is correct but 666 being a Babylonian amulet of theosis to create a nimrod coming from Esau via Rome is the sort exploration GEMATRIA is intended to contemplate.

@@paulhutchings7527 you think, beware of charlatans they where many varied cloths and speak in all manner of tongues. But if you don’t believe me see what the Orthodox Rabbi Singer has to say. Look I have no problem with people searching for the real Yeshua, but let’s not create a new set of myths along the way, this is what created all the trouble to begin with. Abstract. The writer of Matthew appears to be Ethinically Jewish, but not Judean. He has more familiarity of the Septuagint than with the Judean contemporary Text and Iral teachings. Despite his knowledge of the Septuagint he misquotes or attributes source material to the text that is not there. While the gospel of Matthew was most preferentially used by Messianic Jews of the 2nd to 4th century they typically removed the first 2 chapters. Matthew appears to be more familiar with Greek than either Aramaic or Hebrew. Conclusion, when discussing the contextual meaning of a passage with Matthew (an original Greek text) with his source (The Septuagint) we should not be using Hebrew but Greek. The anonymous “Gospel of Matthew” (A word BTW which was borrowed from the vocabulary or Paul, the antithesis of Matthew) was neither written in Aramaic or Hebrew. It borrowed heavily from the “Gospel of Mark” and the Q source (Greek, DRMs ‘Logoi of Jesus’ neither of which were written in Hebrew or Aramaic, and neither mention the passage in Matthew, neither does the Secret Sayings of Jesus by Dumas Tomas Didymas. IOW it is poorly attested. The writer of the Gospel of Matthew was a Greek speaker, there is no evidence that he spoke either Hebrew or Aramaic and he was familiar with the Septuagint. “Matthew, IF he was Jewish, knew very little Hebrew and did not understand the Hebrew Bible, and He knew very little about Jewish law, since he relied so much on the Greek Septuagint.” “Most scholars believe the gospel was composed between AD 80 and 90, with a range of possibility between AD 70 to 110; a pre-70 date remains a minority view. The work does not identify its author, and the early tradition attributing it to the apostle Matthew is rejected by modern scholars. He was probably a male Jew, standing on the margin between traditional and non-traditional Jewish values, and familiar with technical legal aspects of scripture being debated in his time. Writing in a polished Semitic "synagogue Greek", he drew on the Gospel of Mark as a source, plus the hypothetical collection of sayings known as the Q source (material shared with Luke but not with Mark) and material unique to his own community, called the M source or "Special Matthew".” Wikipedia Gospel of Matthew. “The Gospel of Matthew begins with the words "The Book of Genealogy [in Greek, "Genesis"] of Jesus Christ", deliberately echoing the words of Genesis 2:4 in the Old Testament in Greek.” While scholars have compiled a list of more than 30 major errors that scholars have discovered concerning Matthews understanding of the Hebrew Tanakh and Torah, I do not have time or page space here to document them all. Matt. 12:17―21 - Here is the original 42:1 “Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles” And here is Matthew from the original Greek “so that haven been spoken by the prophet Isaiah, saying, ‘Behold is the prophet of me, whom i have chosen, the beloved of me, in whom has found delight, the soul of me. I will put the spirit of me on him, and justice to the Gentiles he will proclaim.” How do we analyze this. First Matthew, an anonymous source so technically it’s not psuedoepigraphical. Isaiah, here is what scholars say “Chapters 40-55 are from an unknown prophet, now called second Isaiah. Kipp Davis says that these are from the one of the 12 minor prophets, erroneous scroll keeping. Wikipedia says: “Historical situation: Chapters 40-55 presuppose that Jerusalem has already been destroyed (they are not framed as prophecy) and the Babylonian exile is already in effect - they speak from a present in which the Exile is about to end.””Anonymity: Isaiah's name suddenly stops being used after chapter 39. There is a sudden change in style and theology after chapter 40; numerous key words and phrases found in one section are not found in the other.” The difference, the author of I40 doesn’t declare himself a prophet, I40 future tense versus M12:17 past tense, I40 ‘He shall bring justice to the Gentiles’ versus M12:17 ‘Justice to the Gentiles he _will_ proclaim’ there is a different verb ‘shall bring’ versus ‘proclaim’ This one text highly typifies the Christian use of the OT. 1. Christians often quote from the most dubious OT text, not only from the OT, but from undoubtedly psuedoepigraphical text from the New Testament. The passages from Isaiah 33 to 66 have been drawn into question because of stingy scroll keeping practices (combining different works on one scroll with no clear separation of sources). Christian authors rely on Text which are often unfulfilled or false prophecies (e.g. the last half of Daniel, itself is entirely psuedoepigraphical) Isaiah 40 may have not been written by a notable prophet. 2. The Christian writer alters the wording of the text to fit their apologetics. 3. The use of Anachronisms (learn the meaning of the word), assigning a text that is discussing one period to another period for which it was unintended. 4. The writing is embellished with platitudes and Greek literary elements. For example the text was not written by a prophet or Isaiah, nor did the original author declare himself a prophet.

Yeshua assures the crowd that John is more than a prophet. He is “the messenger” of Yehovah prophesied about at Malachi 3:1. He is also the prophet Elijah, as foretold at Malachi 4:5, 6. Yeshua explains: “Truly I say to you, among those born of women, there has not been raised up anyone greater than John the Baptist, but a lesser person in the Kingdom of the heavens is greater than he is.”-Matthew 11:11. NWT. By saying that a lesser one in the Kingdom of the heavens is greater than John, Yeshua is showing that John will not be in the heavenly Kingdom. John prepared the way for Yeshua but dies before Messiah opens the way to heaven. (Hebrews 10:19, 20) John is, though, a faithful prophet of God and will be an earthly subject of God’s Kingdom. Psalms 37: 29.

Jew refers to the select group of displaced Judeans that returned to the Jerusalem area. First off Abraham is probably a myth, but even if he wasn’t, suppose he was born in Ur, the city of Nanna/Sin. His family traveled to Haran, also the Patron god was Sin. So more than likely him and his wife were devotees to the god Sin, the Mesopotamian god of the moon and wisdom. Note all the place names and proper in Israel with the names El, the Patron god of Uruk, the father god of the ancient Canaanites El Elyon, Isra’el, Beth’el, Ezeki’el, ..... The god Abraham is talking to is the god El Elyon, he would have been a practicing canaanite, Yahweh isn’t even in the picture until the 13th century.

Gen. 14:22 "Avram said to the king of Sedom: I raise my hand in the presence of YHVH, God Most-High, Founder of Heaven and Earth" You have much confidence in what you do not know.

Abram became the first "Hebrew"....the first to "cross over" from pagan worship. The lineage of the patriarchs are vital to the revelation of Yeshua! As a matter of fact, Yeshua said, " Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad."

Christians have been deceived by the false apostle Paul. There were only 12 apostles, not 13. Paul did not qualify. See Acts 1:16-26. He never knew or saw the real Yeshua. He got his doctrines, like Joseph Smith, from a light and a voice in his head. All the anti- Torah teachings come from Paul's letters. Stick to the Torah and Yeshua, the living Torah.

Absolutely nothing Paul said contradicts Torah. No evidence of it.

The suffering servant and the prophet of Isaiah 60 are different people. Jesus fulfils none of the prophecies of the suffering servant, he doesn't bring Israel back to yehovah, he doesn't call for the temple to be rebuilt, actually jesus declares the temple will be destroyed, jesus doesnt see his heirs grow up, if you want to argue that jesus is the suffering servant then you would have to conclude he didnt atone. Cyrus the great of Persia is not the person listed in Isaiah either. The kingdom of heaven is the same thing the Hindus call nirvana

@@romans1117 explain..... Jesus forgave his killers while saying certain groups go to different places. Check that revelations 22:11 again and come back. Let whoever is what they are remain untouched, and unpunished in what they are in essence. Meaning nothing done about anything. Like any hippy move blazed out while woman scream in the background.
