Two markings on this tool but I can't make them out. Come along and see if they are familiar to you and let me know where this came from. Here's the video of the drifting block. hope you enjoy it • Drift Block

That was a nice project, the handle is beautiful good job! I like your use of the long clamp in your vice 👍 Did I see a new wood mallet for driving the handles?
@toolscouter2 ай бұрын
Thank you very much. No that is not a new mallet. It is actually a piece of ash that I took off of the wood pile and shaped a handle and then planed two flat sides on it. I would say it’s more like a baton than a mallet. But it’s a sacrificial piece that won’t damage my handles. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Just last week you were an Axeologist and now you're a Laminationologist? Laminatingologist? Lamologist?.......Anyhow I took a screenshot and messed around with different settings and still couldn't make out what it says on there so I guess the maker is a mystery unless someone recognizes it. Since the other one is a railroad tool maybe this one is considered the same. Maybe instead of a maker it's the name of a different railroad system?
@toolscouter2 ай бұрын
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love it. That is hilarious. As long as I’m not a lameolagist, I like the titles you came up with. The name on that tool is very hard to make out. I’m sure somebody out there nose. Thanks for your visit and have a great weekend.
