The kind of TV show they don't make anymore. Great story, wonderful acting, with a moral, not a message. More quality entertainment in 25 minutes than in two hours of most modern movies and TV shows.

NOW I'm remembering more bits & pieces of different shows' scenes - spaced-out that it was TV show series, too.🤦‍♀️ But ... i DO _remember_ Dante ACTING/BEHAVING like a private eye _usually_ does & he _wasn't_ afraid of criminals confronting him.🔥 Yeah ... 😍 GOTTA re-watch your Dante collection, again, & sooner, rather than later. When?!? ~ 💖

In this series, the actors always seem to flatter themselves by having much younger love interests. In this Dina Merrill was about 30 years old and Dick Powell, whose career was basically over was around 50 a hard 50. The guy playing his father isn’t that much older than him and refers to him his son of course. as if Dick Powell‘s character needs to be guided like he’s a young man. And in fact, the story is really written for a young man. Maybe about 30 or 35 years old. Paul lived a few years after this show was made. Even today when I see actors like Tom Hanks and a film and the love interest is like 25 years younger than him and she’s just absolutely in love with him taken with him follow him around everywhere and she’s gorgeous. You know you see this over and over again and no one questions it. It’s always an older guy and a much younger woman. And in this series, Latino has relationships with guys who look at her and just fall in love with her as if she’s this gorgeous young woman, instead of being in a middle aged woman. Hey, the actors were the producers here. And they called the shots. But they did cross the line when it came to these being vanity productions every so often. Like Charles Boyer he didn’t live much longer. He was an older man and he romance his girls in these things who are falling for him all over the place and some of them look like the 22 years old! A woman just spent maybe I don’t know 10 minutes with him and she had in her mind that they were going to get married! Either way it was a fairly well written series something very good for television thought-provoking. Most of the shows were dramas and done pretty well. All the actors turned in fine performances. And above all these shows were shot almost as well as a major movie studio would’ve shot a movie. And most of the programs had built that were on par with some of the better film projects. Perhaps some of these shows should be colorized. The best ones. The real deep ones the ones that have to do with interpersonal relationships and also the thought life of man. And they do deal with things like that in this series.but this was the 1950s. Television wasn’t broken down to the cheapest denominator yet.

@@JodyridesWe are devolving as a society...it's profoundly sad. We've lost so much...class, manners, and the sense to care about our appearance, our character. Our education system is a failure. Parenting has fallen off. I think that's why I love classic films. To see of times when we were gentlemen and ladies, and children were expected to behave, especially in public. We have become an embarrassment. 😔

💖 ~ 🌬 *Trump won the Iowa Caucus by a landslide* - in a _severe_ winter Wind Chill - & NO fake registrants were necessary. His rallies all over the USA are continually _packed_ with supporters. Compare his rallies with ... ummm ... EVERYone else. When Trump was President, he *NEVER* kept his taxpayer-paid salary - the 1st & _only_ President to *donate* every penny right back to help America & Americans that the government had ignored or oppressed - like our Veterans. I could brag _truthfully_ about Trump - for days. The SMATTERING of anti-Trump people have, unfortunately, BELIEVED & been USED by CORRUPT CRIMINALS' LIES & FOOLISHLY do NOT EDUCATE THEMSELVES as to what the TRUTH really is by sleuthing-out the criminals' panicky BARRAGE of _wickedly evil_ agenda-manufactured LIES to FACTUALLY DISPROVE them, along with using CRITICAL THINKING skills to PERSONALLY confirm ORRRRR deny their ultimate decision. I'm sick of what DEMONcrapz & their swamp cronies have done to create the DYSTOPIAN COUNTRY we now have - & it WILL get worse. Wake up. We The People _want_ our *FREEDOM* & our *MAVERICK* PRESIDENT back!!!!!!! I'm COMPELLED to defend President Trump, KZbin, against the SMATTERING (look it up) posted here B4 me, which you DIDN'T delete ... sooo be verrryyyyy careful NOT to delete MY defensive replies. 🌬 ~ 💖 🇺🇲 ⚖ 👊 If you wish for peace, prepare for war. 💖 💖 ~ 🌬I'm a _loyal_ TRUMPETTE & we're gonna take America back from the DEMONcrapz & fix EVERYthing they destroyed & Make America Great Again. 🇺🇲 ⚖ 👊 If you wish for peace, prepare for war. 💖

The GOP souled out to a hateful con artist, someone who never served our country in any capacity, even avoiding the military *five times.* That elite, self centered, self serving sex offender has done to the party exactly what Mitch said he would. He's only done this nation harm. It's a national disgrace and an international embarrassment. The Republicans need to return to the values that once made them strong, and respectable. It's become a sh*t show.

The GOP souled out to a con artist who never served our country in any capacity, even avoiding the military *five times, letting good men fight and die in his place. He did to the Republican party exactly what Mitch said he would. It's a national disgrace and an international embarrassment. Unless the GOP returns to the values that made them strong and respectable, they will continue to devolve into a hateful, petty entity that bears no resemblance to the party that we looked up to. I'm hopeful, that people will step up and restore their party. But the kkkult of worshipping an unregistered sex offender with a porn star wife is what they've become. Fear of the cult by men in power is absolutely pathetic. Where are the real ones? There's a world of difference between a Republican and a Rethuglikkkan.
