Poseidon is treated as sort of myth unit ...and arkantos uber is specially designed to kill poseidon and poseidon also receives bonus damage making -1000+ hitpoint of poseidon at every arkantos' strikes.. If you want to kill poseidon quickly without arkantos uber... Use petrobolois.and toxotes. These are most effective against poseidon

Thing about this mission is you can destroy literally every enemy unit except the statue and just build up a massive army to attack it without the blessing. Tried it once. Worked ok until I forgot that myth units spawn when the statue loses health and I got my ass handed to me pretty quick. Thankfully, the myth units stay around the statue so there's no fear of them attacking.

I had built towers and fortresses around the gate. The towers were close enough to work down the statue, but not close enough to actually aggro it. Anything that came out the gate immediately got killed.

Another great challenge and video done! I just thought of another near impossible one or maybe perhaps your hardest challenge. Campaign Mission #25 Welcoming Committee but after you kill the clan leaders aka the Hersirs, you don't get any of the norse military. But maybe you can have all armory upgrades to help balance it out lol.

Hell, first time I played this, it bugged and didn’t give the god power to upgrade Arkantos. I was forced to do it without it. A repeat playthrough later on was extremely confusing to me. Not on Titan difficulty of course, but I figure the statue on this difficulty is the least of the problems.

I actually prefer not to get the blessing, because I want to destroy everything before facing the statue. The Wonder is beyond expensive, not only 1000 of each resource, the villager time spent building is invaluable. It can be spent on gathering enough for a huge army to push through the map, capturing the Vaults. Vaults = 💰 = mooooreee army!

Yeah I have done this when I was 6 years old I did not know about the blessing so I had to build a ton of fortress and then I made posaidon chase arkantos and my army around those fortress

If you check the ally unit stats they seemed to intentionally gimp them severely from normal stats.. Ulfsarks are like 3 attack and the axemen are like 5.. ridiculous. Makes any neighbour help basically useless, only useful as a distraction.

@@professionalballssquisher2977 It is doable on hard difficulty. But never tried titan difficulty. Just get some villagers to the second villige via sandstorm. Build defences with A LOT of walls and towers. Aid them with spearmen and priests. Done. If you can get some perchubils ra (the light croc)....
